I had a minor issue with my thermostat upon receiving it. I reached out to the seller (AMZ bro【HouseUp】)and impressed with how fast they responded. I was even more impressed with how they addressed the concern. Certainly one of the best customer service engagements I have ever experienced! The thermostat worked perfectly for my Whirlpool mini fridge. I measured the performance with a digital wireless thermostat that provided temperature trend history. On a dial setting of 4 the thermostat maintained 38F. Thanks again to the seller for their support and providing an excellent product!

Works great! Fits as OEM!

Pros: I am very happy with the product. You cannot beat the price. The equivalent OEM part is at least $50+. The t-stat is nice compact. The installation should be easy with just two screws if it is a direct replacement. I replaced a different model so it took me a bit of modification. The stat turns on and of approximately every 12 minutes so short cycling is not an issue. It maintains the temperature within 2-3 degrees.Cons: For this price I don't think it is fair to say anything negative. Nonetheless, with the intent to help just a few suggestions. There is no paperwork, diagram, installation manual whatsoever. It would be great if it would come with the two screws for installation and perhaps a cheap knob. The sensing probe is could be longer to make it universal. The excess length can be looped up.It is a great product. I would buy it again.

Positive - works and bolts up nicely.Not as positive - getting the temperature probe installed is very difficult. Don’t give up and be innovative.

My mini fridge stooped cooling. The compressor was not turning on. I replaced the compressor relay and still didn't work. I replaced the thermostat and it started back up. Within minutes, it started cooling. My thermostat had the plugs in a different place. This one has the plugs on one side and it fits fine. No problems installing it. Just know that it does not come with the white plastic protector for the thermostat wire. Shipping was on time.

It's only been 2 days but the thermostat replacement work. Will update later when I can report further.

When my small refrigerator stopped cooling after 22 years of service, I had few hopes for bringing it back to life. I determined that it needed a thermostat, but the OEM version was priced at around $75, but I was unable to find one anywhere.This $9 replacement thermostat did the trick. It arrived in about 3 days, much faster than predicted. The refrigerator is now working like new and hopefully is ready for another 22 years.Some modifications were necessary to make this thermostat work. Happily, the original knob and attaching screw were perfect fits, so the new part mounted easily. However, it doesn't come with the rubber sleeve that goes over the capillary tube, so you'll have to salvage this from your old thermostat. The capillary tube on the new one was a bit longer than the old one, so I used some heat shrink tubing and tape to make up the difference in length of the sleeve. The spade connectors on my refrigerator were too small for the larger terminals on the new thermostat, so I had to cut them off and crimp on new ones. For the record, the new thermostat's connectors are a more common size, so there is a good chance that you won't have to make this change.None of these changes were very difficult, but be sure to allow some extra time when installing in case you have to adapt this thermostat to your refrigerator.Overall, I couldn't be happier. I really didn't want to have to get rid of my refrigerator and buy a new one. For less than $10 I was able to resurrect it, saving landfill space and money.

I bought this to replace a failed thermostat on my chest freezer. This is supposed to be a direct replacement. This thermostat bolts right up like the original one, but there are no instructions as to how to change the control range. This is a stat designed for both mini-fridges and freezers. You need to adjust it for your application, and who knows how it comes set from the factory? There are a couple screws with lock tight dabbed on them — I assume these are what can be adjusted, but there are no instructions so….. not sure what I’m going to do with it.

I installed on a mini fridge Royal Sovereign 4cu ft, that had a weird thermostat WPF17a that I was unable to find. Works perfectlly, no more up and downs in temperature, no more water inside or ice. Very stable temperature.

Simple to install and seems to work exactly like it should in my Sanyo mini fridge.

We were so relieved to find this on amazon. We have a water cooler that we purchased back in 2003, it stopped working. We bought a new one, that was just awful, so we thought we would try to find a thermostat that could fix it. We were surprised to find it from this seller and it is almost identical to the one that broke. Put it in and with a couple of temperature adjustments our water cooler is as good as new!!! It also arrived quickly and was a great price!! Now what do we do with the crappy new cooler that they make now lol.
