Well it is not like you can test the fire proofing if using it. So hopefully if it ever happens, it works. That aside it is fairly solid besides a slight brittleness to it when cut. Overall it appears to do the job. I used it under circuit breakers mounted to a buss bar incase they ever failed. Which even good ones can in rare cases. Better to be safe than sorry and have extensive damage or complete losses.

Works excellent for gaskets on my pellet stove. And way less expensive than ready made. Will buy again when I use them up in about 10 years.

Works great! However it does off gas a lot of fumes. I used a fan next to my kiln to keep the air moving around. Once the binding agent burns off then good to go. Was able to get 3 to 4 firings out of one sheet.

Once I have time, I will use the kiln paper to line the kiln I am building. All I can say is that it is true to size, it appears durable, but I haven't tried to cut it, and haven't tested it for insulation or heat retention.

I needed these to make a gasket for my oil burner. I could not find the gasket my technician told me to buy. So I made my own. I also am building a box to soundproof my generator. I am planning on putting these around the opening of where the exhaust goes thru. They worked for the gasket. If I remember I'll let you know if it works for the box.

I always buy a different brand, but this time I decided to try something else. Very good and fast delivery.

I used this material to cut my own replacement gaskets for my pellet stove. The material was a perfect substitute for the manufacturer gaskets, at a significant savings! They have done the job I hoped they would ans I would recommend them if you need heat resistant gasket material, and are comfortable making your own gaskets!
