Good as any other pvc tape. Does the job which is all I care about. Typically leave this up to a sub but we couldn't convince him on this project so diy.

This tape has characteristics similar to black electrical tape, just without the voltage rating. Before ordering the wrong product, you can test your application with electric tape to see if it’s right for you. There were lots of mixed reviews for this stuff, but I’m sure lots of people just bought the wrong product for their job. I purchased an 18 roll case of 3” wide tape 33 yards each. That’s a great savings deal for me. Each roll is individually wrapped in shrink plastic and retail friendly. The tape doesn’t have paper release backing on the adhesive. Because of this and the wider 3” width I needed, unrolling will take slow, even & firm strength. Tape may distort a little if you go too fast. Do not try to just tear this tape, it won’t work, it’s too strong. You’ll need to cut with scissors or razor knife. As stated before, this stuff is like electrical tape, so the adhesive is only as good as what you’re sticking to. My project was to seal seams on black Armacell sheet insulation on air duct work. I also used to repair the damaged black insulation on my copper Air Conditioner refrigeration pipes (lineset). My goal was to act as a vapor barrier for any gaps in my insualtion and to seal out any air that could cause condensation. The tape stuck well to the insulation and doesn’t want to come off. My duct & pipes are in my crawlspace, which stays cool and lightly moist. Tape is made from PVC, so it’s moisture resistant. I don’t plan on using outside, so I’m not sure if it’s UV resistant like some tapes. I did some testing on other materials and tape sticks well to clean solid surfaces like PVC pipe, metal, glass & plastic sheeting and removes without damage to surface. Traditionally, If left on for a long time and then removed, some adhesive may remain. You can usually clean with Goo Gone, light solvent or lighter fluid to dissolve adhesive residue. Not recommended for Fibrous materials like cardboard, wood, fiberglass, paint and fabrics. Tape will come off and take particles with it.

The tape is strong. It adheres well to itself as you wrap. However, it splits way too often while you're peeling it off the roll. This leads to multiple fractured starting points along the surface of the product. Super frustrating and makes your project take twice as long. The waterproof feature is adequate.

It worked great, though imagined it might be a but thicker, it was sufficient for what I needed. I had bought a composting drum on metal framing from from Amazon, and was outside even though it was heavy metal in good black paint, I still want to protect the metal from scratching and potential rusting, I wanted to put tape where the meadow would be against the ground or concrete to prevent, it seemed like tough stuff, and was highly sticky so it should remain in place.

Worked well to seal a sprinkler line. Highly recommend.

It is very strong and sticks

Used to seal very slight leak in toilet waste pipe joint. Working so far. Fiddly to start unrolling the roll, but once started, very easy to use. Good quality, reasonably sticky and stretchy enough. Wait and see now!

I bought a a whole box of this tape for a project I have on the go. Before the project got going I started my pool up after the winter and had an air leak on a fitting on the suction line to the pump. Bubbles everywhere. It was only an O-ring of an odd size that I couldn't find it locally anywhere. Oh...that tape!! I wrappedd it around the whole fitting tightly a few times and to my amazement no more bubbles at all. Totally sealed for now. Very stretchy like a high quality electrical tape but much wider and a whole lot cheaper. It look like it will last in the sun. What can I say? Try a roll or even a case of it if you have uses for it and you won't be dissapointed.

Tape works great on any pipes or tubing that has water flowing through it...seals great
