Awesome Cushion Support, Moisture Wicking
As Described, the extra Cushion on Heel & Toe Area is really great. I have Achilles Tendinitis Heel spur and hallux rigidus (Big toe), so I prefer to use compression socks for support. got different brand compression socks, bot not comfortable, kind of slippery inside. I have also tried other quality brands, they are great at Moisture Wicking but no cushion support. Finally I wanted to try this Thirty48 Socks and got it. These are super comfortable, liked the cushion support and moisture wicking. I am training for Marathon running. These are going to be my main socks.

Snug, supportive....
Snug and supportive. I've had problems with my arch and ankle and wearing these socks...allowsme to dance without aggravating arch/ankle. I dance several times a week, but I'm not a runner.I've had heart surgery, my circulation isn't optimal...it does leave a light impression at the top of the ankle, but it goes away quickly. I've worn them for 2 hours without any problems. They need to be air dried, but they come out of the washer barely damp, so it's easier than I thought. I wear a size 10 shoe and the large size fits perfectly. I think anyone with 10.5 or larger shoe probablywould need XL. The front of the sock is thin, but the padded sole is about the thickness of a typical cotton sock. Unliketypical socks, they are form fitted so they're labelled R (right) and L (left). I've been impressed with the comfort.

The quality shows
I've only used these for about a month, about 100mi spread out amongst the 3pr, but I can see they are of better quality than several of the other running socks I have bought on Amazon. The knit fabric of these socks is noticeably tighter, and hopefully more resistant to holes. These are not designed to increase the shoe's padding, which I think is great. My shoes fit as if I'm not wearing any socks at all. Awesome. They are R-L specific, and cover the ankle joint/bones. I put them in the dryer once, but perhaps because I am on the L-XL border, and I bought the XL's, it didn't matter (so far).My left big toenail always causes a hole (in both sock and running shoe upper!), so I will update if I see it wearing thru. So far, so good. Will buy again.Update 05/2020: the first set are still working out great, no holes after a year. Amazing! So, I just bought another 3 pair.

No more friction burn
The first time wearing these socks, I went on a two mile walk and I was not impressed. I didn't really feel a different between these and my regular socks. The second time wearing the socks (the next day) I went on an 8 mile walk (which was very impressive for me!) I was shocked with how great my feet felt.Usually after walking 2-3 miles in my regular socks my feet would ache but they would also burn on the bottom like too much friction or close to being a full blister, after my 8 mile walk my feet were still aching... But no burn at all! I think the fact that I felt no burning during my walk allowed me to walk further because I wasn't changing my stride to accommodate the burning feeling on my feet.

It takes some getting used to.
They definitely compress. I was annoyed because I had to stop and readjust my laces for my first two miles- for two days. After that, I have been fine with ONLY using these socks to run in. I did notice after a week or so, that my feet were less fatigued at certain mile markers. I LOVE that they do not rub. It did take some adjusting for my toe-tips on the front of the socks. I don't wear my socks snug on the tip of my toes. With these, a little toe-slack creates an awkward bulking. I wouldn't recommend these if you plan on alternating with other socks. You will have to adjust your entire shoe lace system depending on if you do or do not wear them. They also keep my feet dry, which is priceless in cold weather. I love them now.

Great for TOSF (Tired, Old, Snagged, Feet)!
After having two pair of these socks prior to this purchase (12 pair) that I had the good fortune to have experienced came to the concussion things had to change. So I said to myself, , โSelf, you need some socks to replace 20+/- pairs of snagging uncomfortable casual sock that hang up on your non pedicured toes that do not provide compression support and are not meeting your needs/expectations!โ Viola! I had 2 pairs that met my needs. So the purchase was made (even with the limited color options). Five stars for service, ๐๐๐๐๐ for meeting my needs.

These really do work!!
I wish I had purchased actual running socks like these years ago. After many years of dealing with heal heat blisters, I finally decided to try something different than the socks Iโve always purchased at Costco. While these have been fine for low intensity activities, they must have been the weak point of my workout routine. Knock on wood, these running socks from Thirty48 have left my feet feeling very comfortable not only during my runs and workouts, but just as importantly, afterwards too. They are no where near cheap and inexpensive like the socks from Costco, but they are worth every penny for my feet.

31 miles, 0 complaints
Wow! Super comfortable. I'm going to get a few more pairs now. Ran my first 50k in these. The race included a few stream crossings and I was impressed how fast these dried after running through ankle-deep water. 31.1 miles and no blisters or complaints.

These socks are garbage, do not buy them. The socks began to shred after one use.
These socks are garbage. After wearing them once, they began to fall apart, shredding from the inside, with fluff falling all over my house, cloging my washing machine. These are the worst quality socks I have ever bought in my life. Thirty 48 used to make really good socks, but not anymore. The worst thing is - the seller will not respond to my complaint. I think I should get a refund because the socks are garbage and I cannot wear them.

quite overpriced!!!!
I have used this product for running and biking, even though it is a good product, I find it highly overpriced.
