Perfect fit for my amp

Update!!! This seller has excellent customer service. I told them about my issue, they contacted me the next day, and in less than a week they had sent me a fully functioning replacement FREE OF CHARGE NO HASSLE. The new cord works perfectly and I suspect that the bad cord (read original review below) was a rare defect, possibly damaged during shipping or maybe even in the factory. I say rare defect because I have had tons of these cords in the past and never had any issues. Aside from the very minor inconvenience, I am EXTREMELY pleased with this purchase and the customer service. [So when I initially plugged it in to the amp, the adapter didn't work. I wiggled the cord from the wall to the power block and it would turn on and off. That cord has a short in it, brand new. So I had an extra cord from an old laptop, and the power block works fine and without any hum... PROS: the adapter works well CONS: the cord from the wall WAS FUBAR upon arrival.]

Recommended for Blackstar fly 3 amplifier, you will save lots of batteries in the long run and gives reliable power to it. It is sold separately, but it is usually offered as the "frequently bought together" accesory.

Works perfectly

Works pretty much as expected. What I like about it is the laptop style adapter that doesn't take up more than one outlet on a power strip. I wish they were all like this. The "wall wart" style adapters need to go the way of the buggy whip. There's a much, much better way to do this.

I bought this for my Blackstar ID CORE BEAM amp and failed to realize that it is not suitable for that amp. I tried it and it did not power up. Just throwing this out there to help anyone else avoid making the same mistake. I'll still give it 5 stars, it is brand new and it excellent condition.

Not much else to say, perfect replacement and I'm a happy camper!
