Ed Brown Sear Fixture 1911

What can I say? It is expensive for what it is, but you would be wasting a lot of time to build one. It works and is used by some of the best gunsmiths.

The Ed Brown Sear Jig is well constructed and works as advertised. I was able to produced a crisp, smooth 5.0 lb trigger pull on my first attempt.

Used it on the sear of my Colt 1911 and it helped with the trigger pull

I use this for sears in my 1911s. Easy to use, and instructions are simple to follow.

For anyone doing trigger work on their 1911, this is a must have tool for tuning the sear.

Arrived with rust on the shim. will have to polish it before use.
