Il Tratturello Extra Virgin Olive Oil - Molise, Italy - 500 ml

One of my favorite olive oils. Smooth, fresh with a peppery finish. I’ve reordered 6 times now, and have made it a part of my health plan. I began to drink a tablespoon before bed for a year, and credit this oil partly for crashing my cholesterol into safe zone. Great oil for an amazing price in my view.

A few years ago, we received Il Tratturello extra virgin olive oil as a present. My husband and I loved it so much, we had to have more! The gift giver didn't know where to get it, but I found it at an Italian specialty store in the Bronx called Gustiamo. Luckily I'm a New York native (and my husband is Italian) and I was able to go to the store to purchase it. They were SO kind, and we were so thrilled to find them.Luckily, Gustiamo is now on Amazon! This makes it so easy for everyone to get truly the BEST olive oil on the planet. This is not the kind of olive oil you cook with, it's the kind you dip delicious bread in, or pour on top of salad or veggies or on top of cooked pasta to make them amazing.I love bringing this as a housewarming gift, and every time I do, the host writes to me that this is the best olive oil they've ever had. Order it! Also, Gustiamo has a ton of amazing Italian specialties, so if you want to get delicious items straight from Italy, explore the rest of what they have to offer. My favorite EVOO from Gustiamo. I combine this with either lemon or balsamic vinegar for the perfect salad dressing.

I heard about Trurello EVOO when Katie Parla recommended it. I have ordered several times from Gustiamo through Amazon and have received my order on time and in perfect condition. The taste is wonderful fresh and delicious. I have ordered other Italian product from Gustiamo and have been very pleased.

I am shocked that until I tried this brand, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted REAL extra virgin olive oil. The big box stores, and small grocery chains must be selling mixed products. Their oils were all bland and yellow and nowhere near as good. With regards to Tratturello, the color, smell, taste is all superior, fantastic, and well worth the money. Bottled-on and expiration dates are clearly marked (mine was very young). I highly recommend this brand of EVOO. Gustiamo did a great job shipping the product so no worries with their import/warehousing/shipping service.

I’ve been enjoying good olive oils for 2 decades - ever since my 2 daughters got me a subscription to an ‘Olive Oil of the Month Club’ for 6 months. I went from being a complete novice to a very selective, but avid consumer of olive oil. I recently saw a special on cable with Katie Parla and Danielle Callegari on olive oil. It was fascinating. They were tasting a few oils, one of which was Il Tratturello, which they savored! I had to try it, and I’m glad I did - it’s a wonderful olive oil, fresh and fruity and slightly peppery! Delicious!
