I found that eggs from different suppliers make the difference in the amount of pressure that I use. Some eggs have thicker shells and some are thinner. I found out that the first egg of the dozen that I use will let me know how much pressure it'll take for the "drop" for the rest of the carton. Even when the top part of the shell is still in the topper, it lifts out easily. It's so much nicer than trying to open the egg free-hand. :)

Nachdem ich mir immer die Finger verbrannt habe und mit den Schalen zumgefutzelt habe bin ich echt happy mit dieser simplen Lösung. Hätte mir ehrlich nicht gedacht, dass das so gut und einfach funktioniert! Super als kleine Geschenkidee!

Wat een uitvinding. Deze kende ik nog niet. Was eerst nog een beetje sceptisch, maar hij werkt echt goed.Dit apparaat "onthoofd"de eieren uitstekend. Nooit meer moeilijk pellen van verse eieren. Gewoon "onthoofden" en lepelen maar.

Le tout est de bien bander le ressort, mais l'idée de cet appareil est bonne. Marc
