My phone only charges through MagSafe; the lightning port is "glitchy". Moreover the existing USB-A ports in my cars do not deliver sufficient power (the battery % sometimes even goes down during a long drive with the maps app on). So I wanted the solution that would give me 15W charging.I had a newer "bullet-shaped" 12V car charger that would deliver 15W (or more) of charging power. However in one of my cars, the 12V port placement is such that the 12V charger was a bit longer than I'd liked. With standard straight USB-C cable connectors, it would stick out too far and and interfere with my right hand while shifting gears, which is mildly annoying. (See also: First World Problem.)I then found this set of low-profile / shallow-depth 12V car chargers. and decided to try it. I'm so glad I did, this helped tremendously to solve my problem. It's about half the length of the "bullet-shaped" charger, and doesn't stick out nearly as far. Even with a straight USB-C cable it took away most, if not all, of the physical interference. (I paired it with a 90-degree USB-C cable for a nearly ideal solution.)I also appreciate that it came in a 2-pack; it's a good value and I can either use the 2nd one in my other car, or keep with me for traveling if I rent a car, or even gift to someone. Note that this set does NOT come with cables; not a big deal for me as I'd already bought some cables and wanted to pair it with a specific cable.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I like it’s very flat fit, and it blends well vs the one i had for my previous iPhone. Color:It’s good to have a black that matches the inside of the car.

I placed one of these in my 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee, and it worked fine. I later tried to remove it. It absolutely is stuck there; and even with tools cannot be removed without risk to the outlet. I later tried the second one in my '24 Ram truck, and it goes in and out easily. These are low profile devices, which is generally good. And they definitely perform well. But it seems prudent to test any low profile device carefully to make sure that what goes in can also be removed if needed. Despite my issue with the 12V outlet on the Jeep, I think these devices are a good choice.

I have several older vehicles, tractor, and ATV with just old style cigar lighter. These are a great upgrade to allow use of phone chargers, GPS, and other USB powered devices.

Loved that is has a C port and the other port. It came in a two pack which is very nice!

Nothing flashy here, but it does exactly what it promises. I like the compact size — it’s easy to stash or travel with — and both ports deliver solid power. Charging speed is fast and consistent. It does feel a bit cheap in terms of materials, but to be fair, it’s held up well over several months with regular use. No complaints. If you want an easy, no-nonsense, dual-port charger that works, this is it.
