Just what I needed to make a baby sling. I went with the black because I was making it to use at 18th century living history events and needed a way to carry my granddaughter and still do things like cook and sew and clean up in addition to visiting walking around and joining in other activities. I had never had a baby sling before even though I had 4 babies of my own. I had tried other things like the baby wrap or pouch which were ok but hurt my back. I thought this probably would hurt worse then those and be harder to use. Boy was I wrong this was awesome I was comfortable and the baby was more comfortable in it than any other type of body carrier I have ever used before. I could easily have her sitting in my lap in it, walk around with her in it, nap in it and feed her a bottle in it and she is very content as well much more that the other devices. The rings we just what I needed to make it safe and secure for her and to be confident that she would not fall or slide. Can't recommend them enough if you want to make your own baby sling too.

I received a Maya wrap for my baby shower, but was worried about how complicated it looked to tie it on. With my first baby I used a ring sling, so I figured I'd pick up some rings and use them with the Maya wrap if I couldn't get the hang of tying the wrap correctly. The rings work perfectly with it. I did figure out how to tie the wrap, so now I have the option to use it either way. I think the rings make it easier for nursing, but I like the kangaroo-pouch it makes when tying it properly for just general carrying.

These are well made rings, with a smoothly finished surface, no rough spots to snag material (or fingers). Perfect size to insert a 30” wide width of fabric through and neatly sew down. If the rings were smaller you likely would have a hard knot of fabric at the top of the sling and a hard time getting the rest of the fabric fished through to secure it at the other end. I have only washed my linen sling once so far and it held up well in a top load washer. I prefer to line dry linen and iron while slightly damp. I made this for my daughter and I’m sure she will enjoy using it. I think I’ll make another larger one her hubby can use. What I like best is its a simple design that works! No complicated system of straps and buckles.

Great product! They even sent me. Follow up email with a guide to help with picking fabric and length! They don’t come with any paperwork otherwise. I did choose too thick of fabric I think and cringe at having to redo the seam since I triple sewed the loop down! The good news is the fabric definitely is going nowhere! Very sturdy, just hard to adjust. The rings have a slight texture to them to help with slippage I would assume.

I already had a wrap but found it difficult to use. I didn’t want to buy a totally new sling so I bought the rings to use with an existing wrap. There were tons of YouTube videos to help me and I found that I liked using a ring sling with my baby.

These rings are great. They are inexpensive but very sturdy. I was able to make a high dollar ring sling for just the cost of these rings as I had linen left over from another project. They come recommended by others. I look forward to using my sling soon.

These rings did the trick. We were able to make a nice ring sling for my new little girl! They seem strong and appropriately sized for the project. We used a linen material for the sling and it is great!

I am making a sling for my daughter to use when she has my grandchild in November. I’m anxious for her to try it out and see if it’s going to work well.
