The product works fine but, I didn't pay attention to the size. They are very small, need to order a larger size.

When I opened it it was too small I have ro return it and get the larger size.

Cheap Chinese stuff, would recommend something else.

2 sets, 8 molds, not one had a clean hole for extra water tobescape. Some were completely blocked with nubs intact, and some had pieces after nubs were incorrectly removed at factory. Finally the round ends of the silicone pieces were wavy, not round and some places too thin. If you have very fine tweezers, you can make the molds sort of work. But better yet, do not order these. Other companies we have used are much, much better made. update: the ice balls are egg shaped, not spheres. Finally, I threw all 8 in the trash. This product could easily vie as one of the worst products sold on Amazon, or anywhere for that matter. Hopefully this review will convince you to save your money by staying away fron purchasing.

Bought this to pair with my whiskey nights. Molded the spheres ice just fine.

If I fill it up, the water expands as it freezes and I end up with this odd ovoid/egg shape. If I cut down on the water I end with a Death Star shape: a sphere with a flat spot. Also, the first time I used one of them, I ended up with a bit of silicone in the ice. So, other than not making ice in the shape it's supposed to make, they work great!

If you look for Ice ball molds, you will find tons of 2.5 inch molds, which just seems to be the norm. I really lucked out, finding this 4 pack of 2 inch molds for my favorite sports bottle - Canteen/Flask “Hydrocell”. You just pull open the little egg shell mold, fill water to the line marked 3/4’s of the way up, and gently use a few fingers to press/slide the soft silicone top back into place, and freeze for about 6-8 hours, and enjoy. I was surprised they didn’t spill that easy either. You can almost toss them in the freezer once filled. Brilliant design. They can sort of stack too. The overflow and spill catching grooves, near the breathing hole, do a great job of keeping stray drizzle from escaping into your freezer as well. I included too many photos, because there weren’t any yet, so I hope it helped someone make up their mind at least.

Not only do they form perfect circles of ice, but they have multiple uses like freezing punch or miser into ice cubes that don't water down a punch bowl or drink. They can also be used to make a circle of anything you like that is relatively liquid, or not... freeze a cooked ground beef or a vegetable mix into a frozen ball and then encase it in dough and fry it!... endless possibilities if you use your imagination.
