2nd Purchase
This is my second time buying one of these shower caps. I don’t know if I bought the first one from this seller, but it was literally the same exact cap (cap without the adjustable part). My first one I bought almost a year ago and the only reason I had to repurchase was due to mold growing on the silicone part and NOTHING would remove it (not even Lysol mold remover). Here’s the thing: I LOVE this cap. So it gets 5 stars for me. It keeps the water out of my now 2.5 year old’s eyes. For people saying water seeps through or it falls off, let me explain what I do. When I put my toddler in the tub I put this little visor on and wash his hair FIRST. One hand is holding his forehead (under the visor) to not only keep his head still as I wash and rinse it but to keep the visor from slipping down; my other hand is obviously washing and rinsing his hair. The moment I’m done rinsing his hair from soap I grab a DRY wash cloth, take off the visor, and catch or dry off any water that rolls onto his face. I hope this makes sense lol but I tell you, I wouldn’t be able to give my son a proper bath if it wasn’t for this thing. He HATES water in his face and even though minimal water does seep through, I’m able to keep it minimal. Now, as for the mold part. It’s my own fault. I was doing good at hanging the visor after bath time so it could dry off but this last time I left it on the tub floor over night and so mold grew. We have horrible ventilation in our bathroom (thanks to a wonderful slumlord) so mold can quickly grow here. A good product will only be as good as how well you take care of it. If you want something to last, then take care of it. This time around I plan on being adamant with drying off any water before I hang this visor when I’m done using. My son is only 2.5 so he gets his hair washed maybe 3-4 times a week. It shouldn’t be hard to dry after a bath and hang. If that’s too much for you then you’re just being lazy. Btw, I purchased the green silicone visor WITHOUT the adjustable strap. It’s just what worked for us last time so I can’t really comment on the visors with the velcro strap.

Returned, bad product.
Several poor design choices in this product that make it a big NO. First, it's one size fits all and there is no clasp in the back. You have to slip it onto your child's head and hope it fits. It did fit my 11 month old but this brings me to the next issue: Because you cannot open it to place around your child's head, you have to pull it over your child's head. The material is a super clingy silicone. This means that even with being careful it pulled out some of my daughters hair and of course, she got very upset. We didn't get further than that so I cannot speak to the effectiveness of it keep water off her face but I highly doubt it would. The brim is hard, non-flexible plastic and just doesn't seem like the right material for the product. Overall, I had high hopes but was very displeased with this product and cannot see how this would work for any child unless you have a perfectly bald 1 year old?

A Must-Have Bath Time Essential for Little Ones!
The Walnut Tree Baby Bath Visor has been a lifesaver during our baby's bath time. This adjustable shower visor is a multipurpose gem, providing protection for the nose, ears, and eyes while making bath time a breeze. The peony pink color is not only adorable but also appealing to my little one, making bath time a fun and enjoyable experience. The visor is incredibly easy to adjust and secure, ensuring a snug fit that keeps water and soap away from my baby's sensitive areas. What sets this visor apart is its versatility. It's perfect for shielding little faces from splashes during bath time, and it's also great for use during hair washing to prevent discomfort and tears. The visor's design is thoughtful and practical, and it has become an essential part of our bath time routine. In conclusion, the Walnut Tree Baby Bath Visor is a must-have for parents looking to simplify bath time while ensuring their little one's comfort and safety. Flawed, but functional
This thing does work, but it has a critical flaw, it’s hard to put on your child’s head without hurting them. This is because dry hair and velcro are a terrible combination and the hair gets stuck in the velcro teeth and pulled. I tried putting this on my daughter before her bath and she became instantly terrified of it. I was going to write a scathing 1 star review and return it but I figured out how to get around this issue. I don’t put it on her until it gets wet and soapy. Wet, soapy hair does not get stuck in velcro and the soap makes it easier to slip on. She now understands it helps make the bath easier for her. It’s good enough that I won’t go through the hassle of returning it and trying another product but the nicest thing I can say about this is it’s better than nothing.

A little big but cute and useful
A little big on my 7 month old son. He has a fairly large head too. It works great until it gets soapy and wet then it falls down into his eyes. I still use it and hold it from slipping and it keeps soap and water out of his eyes/mouth and ears. It’s cute too! If your baby is older or has a ginormous head you should be fine. Instructions say to wet it first but I wouldn’t unless you want it to slip off.

Good product but sometimes it slips to neck during shower which makes trouble. But my daughter started to take shower/hairwash with no tears which is happy for me.

Me sirvió un par de meses bien, no se escurre nada de agua y buen material, a los 10 meses aprendió a quitárselo y ya no lo quiere porque no le gusta tener nada en su cabeza, tiene 11 meses, espero después le vuelva a servir.
