RED HEART Super Saver 3-Pack yarn, ARAN 3 Pack

I love Red Heart Super Saver Yarns. It's my go to yarn. It is great quality for a decent price. The colors are vibrant and rich. Any crochet project I have ever made turned out beautifully. I crochet a scarf for a friend as a late gift and used this color because like me she loves purple. The yarn made the scarf turn out absolutely gorgeous. The yarn is easy to work with and doesn't split. I know blankets I have crochet with Red Heart Super Saver yarn keep me warm during the cold winter nights here.

The Turqua color is really gorgeous and stands out so much in any project. Although it's advisable to make sure to pull out the tail end of the skein and make sure everything's going to move along smoothly before beginning (avoid yarn barf!) that's a minor issue. You can see here that in a cat-themed scarf made to benefit an animal rescue organization, Turqua is the star of the show. Once you've seen this, you're going to want to use it for everything.

You can’t beat this yarn. It’s easy to work with and it has a nice texture. The price is great too! It’s versatile and works for many different patterns. There are minimal joining knots and the thickness of this yarn is perfect for cozy throws. I used six skeins to make a generous size throw (pictured). I’m a little lazy, so I appreciate the fact that with the Red Heart Stripes yarn, there is no need to change colors every few rows. You can just keep going and still have a colorful item when you are done. I have tried other brands, but always come back to Red Heart. You just can’t beat the quality and price.

Love this yarn. Seems to be a little more rough than other Red heart yarns. None of them are really soft but this one is especially not soft. Doing color pooling to make a blanket with this. If anyone is interested it is 8 groups of granny stitch (three double crochets) per color, for this particular neon striped yarn. Sometimes you need to add a half double in the middle of a bunch or make your stitches extra tight or loose to get it to end at the 8th group. But if you're patient and don't mind frogging back a few stitches every couple colors to get it to end in the right spot you get a beautiful pattern. It is not 7 oz skeins. They are 5oz each. But quality is great, colors are vibrant and arrived quickly.

Good quality and color

I picked up this 3-pack for a few projects, and it's been a solid buy. The Aran color is a warm, neutral off-white that works well on its own or as a base for colorwork. It's a medium worsted weight, so it's easy to find patterns that fit, and it worked up smoothly on both my crochet hook and knitting needles. It didn't split much as I worked, which makes it friendly for beginners.
