You Gotta Be Dirty: The Outlaws Motorcycle Club In & Around Wisconsin

A solid B+
I think this might be a fleshed out thesis or term paper, or other similar for-school work. Definitely didn't skimp on citing sources. Still not too bad. The cover alone is so hilarious that it almost makes up for the shortcomings inside---nothing says outlaw bikers like an 80's car coming through flames toward a bloody dead guy.

This book is not a story worth reading
I read a lot of motorcycle outlaw stories as long as they are not written by under cover cops. This book is mostly a collection of undocumented facts. It is not your average good read.

Excellent, well researched book .
Excellent, well resarched book about the history of biker culture, in particular The Outlaws chapter in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Ive lived my entire 60 years in Milwaukee and its suburbs so it was fascinating to get real indepth details of crimes that happened when I was a kid and during my entire life. The research is amazing. I highly recommend this book.

Crime writing at its best!
Compelling, with new information on unsolved crimes, well researched and written. Provides an inside look into the violent lifestyle of OMG.

Three Stars
most everything was accurate but dissapointed that what seemed like half the book was about police officers.

Like a term paper
I enjoyed it, but it read too much like a term paper for my purposes- pleasure reading.

Not the best, but not the worst
Not the best, but not the worst. You can tell it was written from a law enforcement perspective. Once you sift through the media BS and bias there is a little history worth knowing, but please don't take this as gospel.

Okay book
This is a documentary not an inside look at the Outlaws.

Very informative a little hard to read at times. Would like to do some follow up research into their Australian operations

This is a decent read but there are a ton of grammatical and sentence errors. Clearly the editors were asleep at the switch or were in a rush to get the book out quickly.
