SYMA S107H-E RC Helicopter for Kids 8-12, Remote Control Helicopter with Altitude Hold, One-Key Take Off/Landing, 2 Speed Modes, and 2 Batteries for 16 Mins Flight Time

My kid (12 y/old) wanted to buy this toy for himself. It arrived quickly but stopped working after 4 to 5 flights. After a couple of emails the company (Syma) sent a replacement unit and is been working perfectly. We had a couple of helicopters similar to this one in the past from CVS but those were very hard to control and the remote control stopped working on both units. This one is WAY BETTER. It is stable and easy to operate. My kid and I love it. He allows me to use it under his supervision.

This remote control helicopter is so much fun for the whole family. It is easy to fly and the control is great for beginners. It lights up with LED lights and has a really good battery life. The second battery makes it easy to extend flight times

I do not know if I got a dud or not but this one is much slower in every direction than the older versions that I own. I suspect it's built that way to prevent crashes because it is also much more stable that the S107G model but the downside is that it cannot fight against even the slightest of Wind. This is most certainly an Indoor unit as any wind will just blow it away. The upside to this version is longer batter life and you can change out the battery plus it is much easier to fly which is a bonus for young kids. The older ones had a permanent battery built in and is very sensitive to every input. Also this unit will not start if you have it in your hand! It must be on a flat surface to start the rotors. I went nuts thinking it was defective because I was holding in my hand to test if it like I do with the older models and it would not start. I was almost ready to pack it up and return it when I tried it on the floor and it started up right away. I suspect that it has some sort of ultrasonic sensor on the bottom.

I'm almost 60 year's old But still a child at heart. Purchasing this helicopter was one of the best purchases for me. I fly it every other day inside my house and I just love everything about it. Easy to fly, So Much Fun. Looks Beautiful, I just feel so happy when I fly it. When fully charged I fly for approx. 6-7 minutes then charge again. I had it for a year now and it's still like brand new, so far I didn't have to replace anything. I am pleasantly surprised how well it handles for how tiny it is and how little it costs, I thought it's gonna be a peace of junk cute little toy before I received it BUT I was wrong, It handles almost like a real helicopter. I honestly can recommend it for anybody at any age. It's worth every penny, this helicopter should be at least double the price.

The helicopter had good control and my 7 year old was able to steer and perform maneuvers pretty well. However after about a week of good flying,the remote burned up. On opening the RC, the segment under power button had melted and was fused. The alkaline batteries had their sheath melted. Not sure what went wrong here. ... Pretty disappointed.

This helicopter is unbelievably stable. I have had others even the Smya 107 without the altitude hold feature. This is really easy to fly. Most of the time I’m not even touching the elevation controls. It works very well. It’s not as exciting as some previous models that I have owned that I was constantly trying not to crash. I can’t speak about the ability to hold up in a crash because I haven’t crashed it yet (surprisingly.). My older model Smya did take some pretty good beatings and held up very well. It’s definitely not a stunt copter. If you are good at flying helicopters I’m sure you would be bored to death with this one. For me it’s a lot of fun. The price is more than fair and it’s relaxing to fly it around without worrying about crashing and breaking it.

I bi=ought 4 of these helicopters for "Christmas" gifts. They were bought as gifts for adults. The helicopter's fly great, I charged them all up so on Christmas morning they'd be ready to go. After just 2 months the battery's on them will no longer hold a charge, hence you can't fly them. Not only that but I purchased each helicopter with 2 batteries each as I knew they would need extra's. It's a shame you can't fly them or find a replacement battery. Which I shouldnt have to after such a short period of time. DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!

Es sólo para interiores y por su tamaño y facilidad para pilotarlo, resulto muy divertido para mi hijo de 8 años. Lo recomiendo mucho.

My grandson really likes it. It takes some getting used to for the first while to fly it safely.

It has great movement, and the battery is the good side of standard length. This RC has great features!!
