I would have happily given this a five-star review if it weren't for the smell of the material upon arrival. I've washed it twice in hot water and am now drying it in the sun hoping the odor will dissipate. This product came in a cute tote with carrying straps. It is true to color (I ordered the green one) and it seems to be well-made. This is not the typical padded yoga mat you may have used before and that's one of the reasons I bought it. It's actually more like a rug or prayer mat in texture and thickness. If I can get the smell out of it I will be a happy camper!!

After over 40 years of a regular practice of yoga I finally purchased a handwoven cotton yoga mat (KD Wilma Cotton Yoga Mat). Now I wish I had purchased a 100% cotton mat a long time ago. The mat I received has a very pleasant, solid, and grippy feel to it as apposed to that artificial rubbery spongy feel that most modern yoga mats have. In my view the traditional is by far the best. Oh and the color of the mat I received (light brown) is actually deeper and richer than what the website photo depicts. It just feels great to practice on something that is entirely natural and earth friendly.

The rug was true to size and color, and it stays in place on my wood floor. It is a beautiful addition to the meditation space!

Beautifully hand-woven organic cotton, just like is used traditionally in India. The bottom is made slip resistant! Love knowing I am spending time on this mat and breathing deeply with no chemical residues. Beautiful colors do choose from. Support businesses that support humanity <33333

This mat is very thin. It's hard to imagine that this is actually made for yoga. I'm very unhappy with the product. The material is not soft. When doing the child's pose on this mat, the weaving pattern of the mat hurts my forehead. The mat does not support the knees or wrists at all. I DO NOT recommend this product. I'm actually shocked that this product has been rated well, which is what influenced me to make the purchase in the first place. Because the mat has been opened and used, there are no refunds. Learn from my mistake and do not purchase this mat. I'm only giving this 1 star because I have to.

Only used it so far for a few practices but definitely worth the wait/price. Good grip, love the color and size for full coverage to transition to various poses. I also like the earthy smell at unwrapping and practices so far. I look forward to outside stretching for the full sun benefits too 😎
