While this NUK Kiddy Cup is technically marketed for toddlers, it has been an absolute godsend for our 8,year,old daughter, who is autistic and deals with significant sensory issues. For us, the biggest challenge is often the "new version" or design changes that companies frequently push, but finding this identical model has saved us from a lot of distress and upset.​Consistency is KeyOur daughter has used this specific cup since she was 5. Because change is so difficult for her, the fact that NUK has kept this design and specification consistent allowed us to replace her old, well,loved cup with a brand,new one without a single hitch. She accepted it immediately, which is a rare win for our bedtime routine.​Durability and Sensory ComfortShe particularly needs warm milk before bed, and this bottle handles the microwave perfectly. I know some reviews mention the spout is quite hard, but for a child with sensory seeking behaviors, it is actually a benefit. It allows her to bite and chew, part of her calming routine, without the cup falling apart immediately. She did eventually chew through her last spout, but it took three years of heavy use to get to that point, which speaks to the quality of the "indestructible" resilient polypropylene (PP) material. It is lightweight, BPA,free, and tough enough to withstand even aggressive biting.​Ease of Cleaning and MaintenanceMaintenance is incredibly straightforward. A great cup, although my daughter appears to believe the toughened spout is her mortal enemy. She spends half her day drinking from it and the other half trying to bite chunks out of it.Thankfully, the spout is tougher than her determination. No leaks, easy to clean, and survives being launched from a high chair on a regular basis.Excellent cup for toddlers and aspiring beavers alike.

Great cup for my 3 year old, easy to clean, doesn’t leak easily from what I’ve seen but she tends to keep it right way up. I just love that there is no annoying straw to clean and the bit that stops it leaking is hard plastic and it just pops off but stays attached inside to clean and then you just push it back on, actually feels like it will last and not go manky like other bottles where you can’t get into the grooves
