Good quality but may not fit industrial receptacle
I installed this for an EV plug charger in my driveway and am pleased with the quality. I wanted to use a heavier duty industrial receptacle rather than the one it comes with. Unfortunately, the plastic face on the heavy duty receptacle is slightly larger than the opening provided and I was unable to use it. It works just fine with the commercial duty version it came with.

Solid construction, great product
Add an outlet for our camper at my daughters house. This is a very solid product great construction, easy to get wires in and keep them from the elements.

Solid equipment, terminals could be better
I like the build quality. Fairly easy to install except the screw terminals face inside. This necessitates a short screw driver or longer wires. Most other 50amp outlets have their screws accessible from each side (top, bottom, left and right). Making the wires longer makes it harder to stuff them behind the plate when finishing the install. Also, the plate is only secured by the two screws at the bottom. The top of the plate is held in a notch. Again, this is made more difficult by requiring longer wires that need to be wrangled in the space behind the plate. This is my reason for the 4-star. All-in-all, I would still buy again.

Works well
I got this for outdoor purpose and I like how I can lock it when plugged in so that people can't steal my charger easily. Very easy to install as well.

Does the trick and cheaper than at the hardware store. Have it wired up next to my Autel level 2 home charger.

Water resistant but not proof as the knock outs have slight gaps
Is as advertised. I did put a little caulking around the knock outs as there were slight gaps in them, just to try and keep the driving rains out of the box.
