Game of Thrones Mask: House Targaryen Dragon (3D Mask & Wall Mount)

I absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these masks. They are fun (if you are crafty, if not, they are time consuming) if you like this kind of thing. They are very large and perfect for hanging if you put them on the backdrop it comes with! I used them at my GOT themed birthday party for a photo corner and they were a huge hit. I plan on hanging them in my house now, just have to find a spot lol.

Takes a good hour to complete. I did use super glue to attach all the pieces. Used as Halloween decorations to a Game of Thrones themed entrance. Looked great! Now resides on my wall next to the banners. Great product, and so creative!

My problems with this were admittedly most due to user error. I thought it would be quicker and easier to use double sided instead of glue. It was quicker, but I had a terrible time putting it together. Also, it refuses to stay together, every few minutes I can hear the tape releasing its hold. I suggest using glue and really going slow and taking your time, or you'll end up with a major fail like I did.

Bought as gift

This was a really fun project. The quality of the paper was great. It was thick and I had no problem with tearing it away from the page. It folded easily as well. The instructions were easy enough to follow. The only complaint that I had was the numbers weren't in order making me have to search for what went next. Total build time was about three and a half hours. The total size was way bigger than I expected. You can actually wear the mask, which I knew from the beginning, but seeing it put together is a magnificent thing. The mounting portion was easy to use and the mask slips off and on easily. It was fun from start to finish. Received an advance reader copy in exchange for a fair review.

This was a project my boyfriend and I did together. You know what? It was fun! And no arguing unlike a lot of ikea projects. (lol) The pieces are precut which is SUPER nice. You just pop them out, fold and glue or tape. Instructions are good. Just need patience! No rushing. Doing the dire wolf next. If you are tedious like me and care about line matching up, this can't be done in 2 hours like the instructions say. But it worth the effort! Took a picture on a gaming chair to show size!! You can wear it or mount it, it's pretty cool.

Comprei esse produto acreditando que seria divertido montar e bacana colocá- lo na parede. Infelizmente não é nem uma coisa e nem outra. O exercício de montar essa coisa é literalmente de enlouquecer qualquer ser humano, e o resultado final, simplesmente não vale o tempo perdido tentando juntar os pedaços e colar centenas de dobraduras que no final não se encaixam. Sinceramente eu esperava algo menos complicado para montar e com uma aparência melhor. Vale apenas para presentear aquele conhecido com quem você não simpatiza muito. Faça um favor a sua sanidade e deixe essa coisa de lado... Não vale a pena e o mais provável é que ele acabe igual ao que se vê nessa foto e você muito arrependido.

Absolutely loved making this! Probably about 10 hours work over 4 days. If you make it as per instructions you will be happy with the end product. I didn't like all the white edges so coloured them in with felt tip. And painted the inside black because I didn't like all the tabs and numbers/letters being visible through the mouth and the eyes (if you are going to do this I recommend doing so before you attach the jaw/tongue/snout pieces together). I used pva glue and sellotape (though this is a pain to paint). Some criticisms: There is hole under the chin/floor of the mouth. It bugged me, so I used a leftover piece from the book to fill it (and painted it black inside). And, the instructions on how to fit the headband are atrocious. But this was of little to no concern to me. The more effort you are prepared to put into making this, the happier you will be with the end product. In summary, buy it. It's great. :)
