We are very unhappy that such a wonderful idea was not realized. There were no instructions and I had to use some of our screws to get it put together. We have both wrestled with the spiral sliced hams in the past and looked forward to this item. Unfortunately we needed to use it a day after it arrived and made it work. We will probably use it in the future also but it could have been much easier. The price is fair and if we got the one box without QC catching it then you have a good product. That being said, it was used sucessfully and will be used again.

Please note, I won't be making a ham until the holidays, but I want to post review so you would know that a professional cook visiting my home was impressed with it. She had never seen one before but because of her cooking experience understood exactly what to do with it. (I do wish there had been better instructions, but perhaps not everyone who is a likely purchaser of this type of item needs instructions.)

Truly. This leg stand is as pretty as it gets and it’s design is perfect for its purpose! My father cures his own prosciutto legs so when he brings one over now I have a place for him to cut it! And he doesn’t have to lug all his stuff around, he can just bring the goods.
