This tool allows me to clean my tile floors with my Hoover Power Scrub carpet cleaner with little residual water left on the floor that can be easily mopped up. It is great!

This product does not fit the "Power Scrub Deluxe Carpet Cleaner"It is about a 1/4 in too big on each side so it does not stay on the vacuum.Either they shipped the wrong part or this is not a compatible product.

Bought this to attach to a new Hoover but it is about 1/4 inch too short to attach to the front piece.

Although this accessory is intended for US Hoover Power Scrub models, it also fits the UK Vax Rapid Power series - same basic machine, different names.Easy to fit, just hook it on at the front of the nozzle and swing back into place. Does a great job on my tile floors, leaving them clean and almost completely dry (if you want to scrub without picking up the water, simply open the hose connection port to break the suction). Not the sort of thing I'd use every week, but for deep cleans, it's so much easier than manual scrubbing and mopping.I do think it's a little pricey for what it is, and really it ought to come with the machine as standard, but I'm glad it's available. Makes the machine so much more versatile.
