GENUINE Frigidaire MWTK27KF Microwave Trim Kit

I have read many reviews about this trim kit. Amazon has the best price I found. It does not look cheap like others wrote. It is good quality & sturdy. Our installer said it is one of the best he has seen. The color matches our Frigidaire oven perfectly. It is very difficult to replace built-in ovens/microwaves from1990’s homes & this trim kit looks great with 27”Frigidaire microwave.

It gives a high end built in look for a counter top microwave. Suits the frigidaire gallery model perfectly. I installed this today and hopefully lasts for some good years ahead. The frame is made of plastic but the support base for the microwave is quite sturdy. Overall it has made me happy.

Appeared nice in regard to look and quality. Worked well for one year. Noticed today material is cracking. Warranty is only 90 days and no on way to repair. Would not recommend. 1 year duration without repair option, for $140?

Wish they had made a 25-26 inch wide trim. This trim is 27 inch wide- is a little tight fit for my cabinet but it still looks just fine.

This is a great option to give the built in look and very easy to install. It comes with a vent kit for under the Microwave as well. The whole thing is plastic with metal or stainless mounted to the front. I wish it matched the microwave better, not sure why Frigidaire would use two different materials or colors. Whole install only took about 30 minutes, predrilled all the holes. Extra info... Make sure you have a #2 square bit for the under-mount vent tray or use different screws.

Fit the best, not perfect but will do! Not sure these pieces are almost as expensive as the microwave? Only have had it since late fall 2019. Hopefully it will last many years. The surround did not cover what my original microwave surround the cover but was please it fit the opening.

It is what it is, don't expect too much. Ok so your cheap and you did not buy the microwave and oven all in one because they are $$$. Well this trim ring looks ok but it's made out of plastic and has a thin low grade stainless steel skin on it. It install around a tray that the microwave sits on, don't expect the try to be true because it is made out of sheet metal and it is thin as well. We were able to level up everything and bend things that needed bending, but overall I wish I had just spent the money for the real combo deal. If you just need to make your microwave look built in and your not combining this with the stove it would do the job nicely.

Simple and easy to install. Other reviewers have stated it is a cheaply made trim kit. It has a plastic front, but a sheet metal bottom tray. Plenty sturdy and much better than the 26 year old aluminum trim kit that came out with the old microwave. Just a shame the kit costs so much
