I wouldn’t review this is as high review because I was unable to open it when I receive it the key was inside so I can’t open it. I still have it and no use for me.

This is not fireproof, fire retardant or really a safe. Fireproof safes have insulation inside of the safe to prevent documents and high value items from burning, melting, ammo cooking off… when exposed to high heat. This has zero fire insulation. It wouldn’t even be considered fire retardant, because there are four ½ inch mounting holes in the bottom and in four 1/2 inch holes in the back with no plugs to put in the empty holes and no seal in the door. Therefore if it was exposed to flame or a short fire, it is highly likely everything other than gold bars inside of it would be damage (the gold bars would just melt into a pool in the boom and go out the holes ). Safes have heavy constructed walls that would take a lot of work to bust through. The walls on this are very thin and I could easily get into it with a clawed hammer and peal the metal back by hand or with the clawed hammer. The metal is no thicker than a thin tool box or the cheapest locking cash box. This is nothing but a combination lock box. The directions are inadequate. I had to look up online to set the date and time, because the directions do not explain how you get to the first step. After a few tries of setting the date/time using the directions it's internal alarm went off and it is loud. I would only recommend it for locking items away from small children or keeping guest honest while they are in your house. If you need something that will save you’re your possessions from fire, this is 100% inadequate. If you are looking for something to keep burglars from getting your possessions or a angry teen, this is 100% inadequate. The metal is such thin gauge that if you do anchor it to the floor or wall a hard kick will tear the metal around the screws/bolts and it can be carried out. I have a “real” firearm fireproof safe, but our house is 4 stories, and it is on the bottom level and our bedroom is on the top level. I wanted this to keep a handgun, spare cash and other valuables safe from fire and theft in our bedroom closet. We live on an island in Alaska and it is very hard to get heavy items here, so I am keeping this “lock box” until my wallet catches up with this insane inflation.

There’s no way this flimsy box is fireproof or any realistic version of a protective safe. It’s neither waterproof nor fireproof, and light weight enough to just carry out the door with whatever valuables you’d store in it. What a joke.

This is 19x14x12 outside dimensions. Not even close to the 19x16x16 in description. I received my order in good time and condition. Very good on that but it's the wrong item. I reordered. Even told them about the first one and included the dimensions. The second one arrived and same thing.

Safe works as it should but feels super cheap and I doubt will keep anyone out or withstand much force. Safe is definitely not fireproof which was the reason it was purchased will most likely be returning

The safe is advertised as being fireproof and waterproof. It is neither of those things. It is just a steel box with mounting holes and a lock. I will return it.

False advertisement, not waterproof or fireproof. 8 holes with no way to seal them and no insulation. It is a steel box period.
