Yep, can be enabled or disabled by pressing M1 on the remote. There is a 10 second delay before it clicks off; I believe the idea is that it cuts all power to the speakers to silence the hiss/hum it produces with no music. So don't lose the remote!

Can you run a vinyl turntable through this system

Yes! I have two, in fact for DJing house music. However, you need a turntable preamplifier between the turntable and this amplifier. Some turntables will have this built in (e.g Audio Technica LP120X-USB ) whilst others will need a dedicated unit. I run my turntables into a DJ mixer and feed the RCA outputs from the mixer into the RCA inputs on the back of the amplifier.

Can you use a passive subwoofer with this?

Active subwoofer can be fed from the AUX out socket. It will need to be an active (powered) subwoofer.
