I bought this water bottle for Crew so I could bring it with me while on the boat for long and hot workout days, which it was perfect for, but I use it literally 24/7 now. The size is absolutely perfect with a comfortable hold and is easy to carry/drink from with even a hole to let air in when you drink making it easy to chug when you are very thirsty. Even if you don’t workout with it, it is great to keep in your bedroom/office and to be able to go a couple days without filling it. The seal for the opening could be a little tighter and I could see it opening if you carry the bottle in a backpack or something that might cause friction against the cap up but I have not had any problems with that so far.

I wanted a water jug that can contain large amount of water while I'm at work, at the gym, or just out and about. This fulfilled my needs. The plastic smell is easily washed out after one rinse with soapy water. The mouth is big enough for ice insertion. The cap is well made with no leaks. This water jug replaced my 40 oz wide mouth hydro flask. The pictures makes it seems larger than it is in person. It is quite smaller than pictured, but holds a lot of water. I wouldn't recommend putting any flavored powder like BCAAS in the jug because it can leave behind some of the flavored taste or smell if you don't rinse it immediately when you're done.

The bottle, like many other plastics, came with an odd smell. This can be washed off and is ready for use. The plastic is sturdy and sits stable on my desk. The cap is offset from the handle on my bottle so it naturally fits my hand to mouth drinking position, unlike the picture in the description, the flip lid and the hand are not aligned slightly to the left. Although it seems like its not sturdy, the flip lid is strong and doesn't leak. I've had it for work and have run into no issues with it whatsoever. I gave it 4 our of 5 stars because when i begin to drink from it, i can hear the wailing sounds of my enemies screams coming from the tiny hole that equalizes pressure. Other than that, its a good buy.

I purchased this water bottle/jug in order to help me keep track of my daily intake of water for a change in diet. After having this jug for months, I have been extremely happy with how well it holds up. The bottle is sturdy plastic and has held up against dropping it as well as being tossed around in the car and at work. It holds plenty of water and has marking to help you know the volume. The lid has a great seal on it and has not leaked but is also super easy to clean.

I am overjoyed with this water bottle! I just ordered two more! I am a gardener so needed something bigger than average to hold my water in my truck throughout the day. This fits that bill. And I'm super excited about how well the cap fits. It agreed on EASILY and TIGHTLY every single time. Landing in the same place, if you can imagine, so that you can grip the handle from underneath and perfectly hit your lips with ease and comfort. This may very well be one of the very few flawless products I've owned in my lifetime. Hope the other two I ordered are just as great!

its awesome . the black isn't too dark you can see through it when filling. the tiny went hole is not only smart and now required in all future bottle purchases........it actually makes you drink more easily. this bottle almost directs the water down your throat :P i know strange but true.....absolutely love it and already bought a second after a days use. only con would be to physically reach the inside narrow area of the handle to clean. Buy it I'm 110% satisfied ? never thought id leave a paragraph long review for a water bottle......... but ..................yeah ? UPDATE......... 5/13/20..... ONE YEAR LATER! DROPPED MY BACKPACK off of my counter getting ready for work and the bottle cracked.... I sent an email inquiring whether I could get a discount on a THIRD purchase..... they responded immediately with, "ok dear please send address we will send you another one"! That's how you do it! This is why I love shopping on Amazon! Didn't even ask for a picture which I took! Caveat.... Try not to drop these water bottles.... But if you do RICWINANN has your back!

The bottle itself is reasonably sturdy and appears of good quality. I was very disappointed that the strap is permanently attached. There are many times when I don't want/need the strap and it ends up just getting in the way - something you have to hold out of the way when taking a drink. While the cap was leakproof, the hole for drinking was a little small and the pin hole to help equalize the pressure was WAY too small. As others have mentioned, this often leads to a high pitched squealing while drinking. I ended up returning the bottle and going with one that has a large mouth and removable strap.

In case anyone else isn't quite sure of how much 2.2 liters of water is, I added a picture next to a gallon of milk. (Hint: lots.) So, for tucking discreetly into a purse or satchel, sipping on during a professional meeting, or drinking (water only!) while driving? This may be a bit much. But for carrying a load of water at once when you're hardcore about rehydration? This may be the bottle for you. Another reviewer mentioned that when the bottle fell from a short distance, it broke. Thus, my first test upon receiving this item was to whack it against a counter. It survived! My second test was to fill it with water and make sure it didn't leak - again, a pass! A nice gasket along the top of the bottle where it meets the spout is a nice addition. The top looks easily cleanable, with no little nooks where mold might grow if the bottle is neglected. Given the heft while full, you could probably also use this as a workout aid - bicep curls, faux kettlebell, and more! Edited to add that when it's in a vehicle, the top flip lid bounces open unless it's really pressed down hard to close it. Caution is advised.
