It is easy to build , with 12 different robot designs to create providing hours of fun and creativity. The solar powered feature is a great way to introduce children to green energy concepts. The parts are well made and instructions are clear, making it an enjoyable project for both children and parents. Highly recommend

EDIT: seller sent out a newer model with correct white gear and I can confirm the robot now functions as it should and is a great product for kids to enjoy and experiment with different movements of robots. —————— DO NOT BUY! As mentioned in many reviews already, the white gear isn’t large enough to reach the smaller adjoining cog on the green gear part, therefore can’t connect and the wheels of the robot will never turn. This isn’t user error this is a manufacturing fault and the product shouldn’t be sold. I can only think that other positive reviewers haven’t paid attention to the wheels not spinning and have just let their kids build it and thought the final build looked good. Either this or they received functioning gear boxes. I’ve added an image to show the fault. I’m out of warranty now as it was bought for a Christmas so just wasted money.

Very disappointing. Refunded and re-ordered twice incase the first one was just faulty. My son was so excited for this, however after hours cutting all the pieces out, we realise its just poorly made and the elements of the motor don't connect properly. The white gear doesn't make contact with the green gear. The white gear being the final part of the gears to make the whole thing move. The white gear is either slightly too small or the the small cog on the green gear is to small. Either way it will never function as intended.Also the up and down travel in the green gear means that even if it did work it would of had intermittent disconnect from the red gear. Overall poor quality. We are getting a second refund and will give up on this company.

I purchased two of these for my nephews, and they absolutely loved them! The kits kept them quite busy building the machines, which was great for sparking their creativity and keeping them entertained. However, the motor wiring is quite flimsy—one wire actually snapped, and they couldn’t get it to work afterward.also solar is very poor. Overall, it’s not a bad toy for kids who enjoy building and experimenting, but the quality of some components could be improved. Despite the wiring issue, my nephews had a lot of fun, and it’s a decent choice for introducing children to basic mechanics and DIY projects.

Bought for our child's 8th birthday, and he loves it! It isn't too easy, or too difficult, but certainly keeps him engaged and his brain occupied. He often does a little bit each day, and loves to show us the progress he has made on whichever element he has been working on. It can require a small amount of grown-up help, but often just with making sure parts are aligned correctly. With lots of different ways to build, it is a fantastic buy, as it will last them for more than just a few days, as lots of gifts often do!

Exactly as described! Great first robot for my son to build - he loves lego so this was perfect for him with the extra element of the moving component. Would definitely recommend

This arrived quickly with all instructions but they are very small pieces. A child may struggle to build without adults help. The robot looked OK when built but did not work when placed at a light source. I would not buy again.

Habe dieses Produkt als Geburtstagsgeschenk für einen 8-jährigen Jungen gekauft. Der Aufbau ist sehr schwer und nicht für diese Altersklasse geeignet. Auch die Verarbeitung ist nicht gut. Das Solarpaneel funktioniert, aber der Roboter bewegt sich nicht, da die Teile zu „schwer“ sind. Ich würde dieses Produkt nicht weiterempfehlen.

We bought this for our grandson. It suggests for child of 8 years old. But this item is much to difficult for a child even after 10. It soon becomes en item for grandpa, and he found out the wheels which are built the essential motor were to small, they can not fit to each other so that they can't work together to carry out the basic function. It is a useless item and we are very disappointed.
