My husband got severely burned fishing offshore one day and used this to help alleviate the pain and burning. It was applied 4 times daily which is the maximum amount as per the directions. It helped create a cooling effect and provided relief for about 45 minutes each time. It took a little bit to dry and it was best not to put a shirt on for a few minutes to ensure the area was being helped. It is not thick and has a watery consistency. It dries quickly and the smell is a strong mint. I recommend this product.
