I got these to give as a gift and she loved them. They are beautiful and very sturdy. These coasters were made well and came at a great price

I would recommend these sandstone coasters to anyone who hates getting water rings on their furniture from condensation on cold drinks. These beautiful coaster absorb the moisture right into them and make them even more colorful. I always get compliments on these when I have guests over. Not just functional, they are beautiful additions to any table. They were packaged very well so they didn't get damaged in shipping and arrived quickly. I would reccomend these to everyone.

Love Thirstystone. They soak up the moisture. Don't have to worry about condensation dripping off the bottom of the glass onto you or the furniture when you use these. Bought these to replace the same exact patterned coasters that were 20 years old and all of them broken but one. They are pretty durable but there's always a chance of them breaking If they get knocked off the end table or coffee table. After 20 years, we break them! Glad they still had this pattern.

The design of the surface of the coaster is beautiful but not understanding why the edges of the coaster are white which does not match the color of the surface design. This makes the coaster look. incomplete, not uniform and cheaply made. The coaster does not absorb water as well as my older thirsty stone products I purchased in the past. I guess nothing is made like it once was.

I got a really sweet deal on these. And they look great - exactly as pictured.I like the faded, slightly smudgy design - the design is simplistic - it looks natural and not overbearing. The colors are earthy and pretty.Coasters have cork backing and fit perfectly into the stand you can buy separately. I keep these on my slate / cast iron side table - the light colors of these are a nice contrast to the dark slate tiles on my table.If you are looking for clean lines and a crisp print, these are not for you.

These are attractive, and they work. They don't get 5 stars because I have had some water overrun a couple of times. However, I live in subtropical Florida, and it's summer, and to expect these (or anything) to capture ALL the condensation from a large glass filled with ice and tea is unrealistic.If I could give 4.5 stars, I would.Another nifty thing: my laptop (like most, I suppose) runs very hot. When I lived in Chicago, that extra heat was welcomed. Not in Florida, not so much. So one day I put two of these coasters between my legs and the laptop and voila! instantly cooler by a whole lotta degrees.

I ordered these for a Christmas gift but they would be wonderful housewarming gifts as well! They are gorgeous pieces with great backing so as not to damage your table. Most importantly, the top is fairly smooth and level. They sit a drink level on it with no threats of tipping.

I have used Thirstystone coasters for many years. Thought I’d get some new ones and they are lovely. Unfortunately, when you put iced cold drinks on them, the sweat moisture from the glass just sits on the coaster and spills on to my oak tables. So I dug out the old ones that absolutely drink in that excess moisture. That must me making them different these days. Sadly, I will be throwing these new ones away it use them outside.
