My boys (5, 4, and 3) all love it, as did their two year old girl cousin. The batman figure that came with the batbot looks like classic batman. The remote allows you to turn, move, and transform. The batbot can only turn one direction, but my boys haven't complained one bit. 5 days later and they're still playing with it as I type. Everyone that comes over has to have a go playing with the batbot. It's well made and even when they drive it under a chair and it knocks forward, it lands on a wheel on the side and still drives around tipped forward. If left alone for a few minutes, Batbot will say "power down" or "deactivated" and go into a resting state until the batman figure stand is turned on the top to deactivate it. My only complaint is that sometimes when we load all of the disks into the compartment to shoot, one of them will get stuck. We have to flip it open, take the other disks out, and then force it back into place with our finger. I received a damaged one (badly packed by toysrus) and I refuse to pay more than DOUBLE Fisher Price's suggested retail, which is around $70. Price gaugers should be ashamed. I networked with all my friends on FB (about 20 mommas were shopping for me), and one of my friends found one in the El Paso area this morning! Two other friends told me that stores in their towns are expecting shipments! Call your Target and find out if any shipments are due to arrive. Do the same with all other stores that might carry it. I also contacted Fisher Price about the damage, and they told me that they are back-ordered but that they believe many stores will be restocked on December 12th. Look at the Batbot from the front. The LEFT leg (opposite of the leg with the battery), look on the outer side of that leg. To the LEFT of the front wheel, there is a TEENY TINY slot, touch this opening. Do you feel a jagged piece of plastic? you should be able to see it. you need to pull this out. This is a major problem with this toy, and the plastic PULL TAB broke off before you pulled it completely out. (I got mine out with a pair of tweezers, but I had to spear the plastic with a push pin so i could reach it with the tweezers) When you get it out, it will be a 3" piece of plastic. This was keeping the toy in "TRY MODE". Once you get it out, the remote will work fine. **Q: the remote control for this toy is not working-what should i do?** A: Same here. Works for maybe 3 button presses and stops. Sometimes works after fiddling with batteries. Mostly doesn't do anything at all. Plastic battery saver on its right legs is removed. All new batteries. I bought batteries expecting none can,e with it but the not itself did and I only needed AAA. Makes many sounds, drives good on hardwood & slow to not moving on carpet. Remote works good you can be pretty far and still be able to power the bot to save any town even in the other room. I over paid because it was sold out every where so I was charged 3 times the original price, so if you want this toy the I would say get it when you see it at or lower than original price don't say I'll get it next time because it may be sold out before you know. To us its still worth what we paid just we will never get close to that value for resell.
