Review: Expensive but worth it. - I deal with disc problems in my lower back and have tried various back braces. I saw this style recommended on youtube and gave it a try despite the price. For me, I've found the high price to be worth it for the quality and for the design. It's breathable and lightweight and the method of tightening with string enables this brace to get incredibly snug. Like, *very* tight. You can perfectly dial in the amount of support you need with the little velcro string toggles. I use this when my lower back flares up, or as a preventative when I have to lift anything heavy or when I'm on solo-parenting duty picking a toddler up and putting them down all day. It's also great that it is low-profile and can fit pretty discretely under top layers of clothing like a sweater or coat. I've worn it out to a museum and the playground carrying the kid around all day. It's my go-to back-care tool.
