Large capacity, useful compartments.Wish there was more information on materials used. Maybe the type of 1000d oxford cloth and coating type as well as information about rigid molle panel.Molle panel finish turned out to be too rough (sharp edges) and way too heavy.

I really wanted to like this backpack. The panel and inside molle would have made organizing a variety of items a snap. And it was spacious. And despite how far the pack stuck out from my back when almost full, it distributed the weight well, felt comfortable for relatively thin shoulder straps and I enjoyed the narrow profile.Would have been damn near perfect, but the shoulder strap stitching started coming undone the 3rd day of use, making all of the above benefits irrelevant unfortunately :-(

This is very similar to the military backpack I normally use for travelling. The aluminum plate that comes with it is very versatile, and you can attach multiple "items" or "things" on it. The main compartment opens fully for easy removal of said plate and "items". Because I use that military backpack for travel I'm always leery over the protection of my laptop that goes with me. Thankfully, this backpack has a specific laptop padded area - which has instantly made this my new travel companion. Overall the backpack seems to be well made and has nearly all the same features that my military backpack has.

Maiker never fails to impress with quality products. The pack will definitely hold up to anything I will use it for. If I have any issues I will update, but after inspection, I don't see that happening.
