If you are replacing an existing motor, just make sure the shaft length is the same on both. The part number on my old one didn't match the new one either. I don't recall what that number was now. I had to replace the motor on a 2010 Polaris Ranger and this one fit perfectly. My switch was still good so I didn't have to order the more expensive model with a switch.
