What side is the lever hole on?

The hole is on the right side if your sitting in the chair. My chair actually doesn't have a lever, but it still works for me.

Does the material look cheap?

We're using them in our camper to protect our recliners from our dogs. Material is "velorish" but they don't quite fit our chairs so they're stretched out. I wouldn't use them in a formal room.

Will this fit a small Lazboy Pinnacle chair?

I think this is my small Lazyboy. Yes it fits as long as you don’t sit on it. Very soft & nice fabric but it stretched out every time I sit in chair. Turning chair over to adjust is a pain. I have not washed it yet. Hope this helps .
