It worked on an old maybe not so smart TV
My parent's don't have a TV with airplay but it at least has an HDMI port. Three different apple phones were connected to have a family slide show displaying photos. I plugged cord into the TV, changed its input to the HDMI and I was shocked when I plugged in my phone and it just showed up on the TV.

All the ones I bought are still working and I even bought some for my GFs family and they are happy with them. Good sturdy construction

Works well just have make sure phone is charged lol Also I don’t think it mirrors the phone screen so if you have subtitles or C.C it won’t show overall works way better than those fake ones it does the job for me until I get the official one lol

Doesn’t work. You plug it in and it goes to a screen that says “Ready”. That’s it. No matter what app I start, what setting I choose, or what I do on the iPhone, it never leaves that screen. I’ve tried restarting the tv, the iPhone, various apps. Nothing. Maybe I’m doing something wrong, but based on the reviews here, you just plug it in and go. That’s not my experience. If someone has a solution, I’d love to try it. Cannot recommend. Sorry.

Works great if you know what it does.
No, you’re not going to be able to use this for copywritten content on apps like Netflix or Hulu. Yes, if you need this to show say, a slideshow from the Photos app, it’ll work perfectly for that. Adjust your expectations accordingly.

Easy connect and set up
I connected this product to TV HDMI. Then I connected to iPad. Yes, iPad screen is displayed on my TV. No apps or any setting are needed. Of course, some streamings ( e.g Netflix, Xfinity, etc) can not displayed.

works perfectly, no qr code to scan, just connect to hdmi input on tv or projector and video is displayed

Amazing product
I use this when I travel to easily connect to a hotel TV. I simply plug-in the HDMI and then plug it to my iPhone or iPad. I can watch movies or play games on a much larger screen. Definitely recommend this product.
