Unusual but beatiful
I like this particular design with the separated hands. It's a different look that takes a little time to get used to, but it gets a lot of looks and compliments. The quality feels solid and its accuracy is good. I like it as a casual watch. Very happy with it. I only gave it four stars for "easy to read" because of the fact that it takes a little longer to read the time at a glance.

Very bad quality
After one year I can say this is trash. Better an Invicta or a Casio for less money

Very fun piece.
A really fantastic watch. I get a lot of compliments on it, and rightly so. The dial is fun, eccentric, and perfectly legible. A 45mm case is usually my absolute upper limit, but the steeply angled lugs make it wear much smaller than its size would suggest. The dial is a lot of plastic, but the rotor and bridges are nicely guilloched. The case is extremely solid and well polished. The engraving on the back is EXTREMELY clean. Accuracy seems fine, but it's not really designed for extreme legibility. The AM/PM indicator is a nice touch. The (quickset) date window is so small it's just a hair above useless, but it's also been a minute since I've seen an optometrist. The deployant clasp works fine, although I wish it was a bit sturdier. Snag this on something and it's coming right off. Which brings me to to a big issue: the height. This is definitely a chunky piece, even among automatics. The domed crystal certainly doesn't help. And since I prefer NATO straps over leather, this thing wears REALLY high. Which, I suspect, is due to how the movement is assembled. Since all the action happens towards the left it looks like they just stacked everything up on the left side of the case, rather than add more gears. Which is probably for the best, as the movement doesn't feel particularly sturdy. I believe it's a seagull. Winding the crown feels smooth, but occasionally inconsistent, like it's skipping teeth. And although it is hacking, setting the time accurately is very difficult. And locking the crown into different positions feels... spongy, and soft. The whole thing doesn't fill me with confidence, is my point. But this isn't an heirloom piece. It's a great choice for someone's first automatic, or for someone who just wants to add something different and fun to their rotation. As to the price? That's where things get tricky. The reasons I gave it four stars instead of five is the cheap movement and plasticy dial. I feel that some more solid, clean details on the dial would work wonders. It's an especially confusing choice, considering how well the metalwork is done on the caseback and the rotor. And upgrading the movement to something Japanese would completely change the feel, and would justify the price. Would I buy this at $130? Yeah, but I wouldn't be happy about it. I paid about half that, which is an absolute steal. Thankfully LP's are pretty much constantly on sale, so keep an eye out, and snatch this up if you have the chance.
