I’m an anxious, turnt up little freak. I don’t really get wet from sweat I just stink 😭 Tried the “natural” route manyyy times. Apparently for natural deodorant to “work” my pits are supposed to go through a spiritual detox (even after not using aluminum for over a yr) involving clay masks, toner and emotional growth to stop stinking 🙄. Hard pass. We just stink. End of story. I already wash and scrub my pits, I just want something that works 😭 This is the first clean/natural deodorant that showed up to the job this early in the game and without the arm pit day spa. The activated charcoal/mint formula did equal if not better than my clinical strength stress deodorant. I shower and put on deodorant before bed. I’m 8 hours PAST when I would normally shower after work (for science) and there is still no smell, nothing is wafting out of my sweatshirt. I still smell the mint and clean. Day one it worked til half way thru work and that was 100% user error. I slapped a very conservative amount on bone dry pits. Day two I followed directions (damp/humid pits right after showering, it says use a pea sized amount but I used what I need to use lol). Now I’m past 24 hours deep and still odorless. Suspicious, honestly. No stickiness, no white marks (and I live in black to hide stress sweat). My pits aren’t swollen. If this holds up in summer… I might finally know peace. (See update below) And thanks little seed farm for the little scooper stick! The jar is also thick, heavy glass and very luxe feeling!! 👍 Update: i’ve been using this product consistently now for months. I’ve even bought three other scents in the charcoal formulas. I would give this stuff an 8.5-9 out of 10. Overall, this deodorant works fantastic. I personally only struggle the week I’m on my period when I’m very hormonal and my temperature regulation is out of whack. During that time, there are days where I use Pacifica coconut scented armpit wipes to clean/deodorize my pits and put on a fresh layer if I start catching any BO. But to the credit of this deodorant, I still get 6+ hours during those really rough times before I need to reapply. And I never need to reapply more than once. I also don’t know what kind of voodoo they did with the charcoal mint formula, but during my really tough hormone weeks I still get 8+ hours out of that one. If there’s a heavy hitter out of all of them, I would say it’s the charcoal mint. For me personally at least. And also to the credit of this natural deodorant, during the week of my period I still had to reapply my stress response aluminum deodorant in the same manner and that one I had to reapply at times more than once. So this natural deodorant is literally performing exactly the same/better for me as my old aluminum ones. All the other natural and acid deodorants I have tried during the week of my period would be lucky if they held up three hours before I had to clean my pits and reapply. Just as a reference point. Mineral salt deodorant worked, but it’s annoying to put on 2-3 layers for it to work and to fan dry my armpits. In terms of summer/getting hot and not hormones, as long as I put this on as directed, I have no issues. It lasts all day when I’m not on my period, there was also a small learning curve with how much I needed to be successful. Like I mentioned before, I know they say to use a tiny amount, but I use what I need to use to cover my armpit lol I would guesstimate that I use about 50% more than what they recommend. It’s not caked on there, just a thin layer. Lastly, I did indulge and buy the bamboo scooper. But quite honestly, I personally had less success when I used it to apply the deodorant. I don’t know if it was scraping some off or not spreading it consistently, but I prefer to use my fingers so I can rub it in myself and not miss any spots. I get results every time this way. The scooper is still nice for getting it out of the jar and putting it on your finger or on your armpit, even though I don’t use the scooper to actually apply it. I would actually love to see them make a more robust version of the charcoal formulas that could succeed 100% during my hormonal weeks. Like if they added more magnesium or something. But I’ll take these charcoal formulas any day.
