I used this for the first time the other day. I made a pot of chicken and dumplings. Yes, I have other slotted spoons in various sizes, but this worked very well for removing the chicken from the broth so the dumplings could cook. I also used it to remove the dumplings while cooking another batch of dumplings in the broth. It is large enough so the dumplings didn't "break" up when being removed. I make a lot of dumplings and they stick together when I try to cook them all at once. I'm sure that I will find other uses for it as I make other dishes. I like the size of this skimmer and the fact that it's stainless steel. It looks good and feels good......one can't have too many "tools" for their kitchen!This is just a brief update on this skimmer......It has now become one of my favorite cooking utensils! I find myself using it more and more. When I bought it, it was more of an impulse purchase and I didn't realize how much I would like it. One thing that I like now is the longer handle. I made a large pot (several gallons) of shrimp gumbo yesterday and this came in handy for stirring because of the longer handle. This is a purchase that I'm very happy that I made.

I wanted a better way to get my home-made french fries so I searched far and wide (I'm kind of picky about kitchen things). I've found this particular skimmer to be very comfortable and sturdy. Works as intended and I'm really pleased with my purchase!

It is fine in every way but I would like it a little better if the bowl part were a little smaller. It is a little larger than I expected.

I have no idea. Looks nice in the drawer. I was gonna use it to sift small chunks out of my cats litter box but ordered a litter scoop with small holes. One month later I'm still waiting on the scoop to be delivered.

It's been a dependable tool. It does exactly what it says it will.

Good for skimming and straining. Well made worth the money.

This is nice spoon, but it is not stainless steel. Magnets do not sick to stainless steel, but they do stick to chrome painted. I have a tiny magnet and it sticks to this spoon like a glue. There is no stainless stamp on a metal, and even no country where it is made. If you don't care if it is S.S. or not you can buy this spoon, I am returning it. I am getting tired of counterfeits made in Chine (my guess, there is no country of origin)

Stainless steel slotted spoon very useful in kitchen as a serving piece. Nice size and very easy to use. Am very pleased. Excellent quality. Came promptly and well packaged.
