Solid part, true to specs and teeth mesh with new chain
Nice lil upgrade to my XTC1 XL hardtail 38T on my 8 speed set up runs nice and smooth on waxed chain. Color matches my rotors, jockeys & frame for added bling. Ring bolts nice and stout too with grip teeth to stat tight and not need Loctite for me that's a plus because hard pedaling in the Texas dirt & rocky trails in Dallas Fort Worth. A/nd we ride pretty hard around 32 miles each trail. Today I'll put on 30 miles of flat riding to break it in with the new chain & cassette. Nice is that these are easy to swap out over the crank arm & pedal if you want to go with less teeth or higher depending on the ride. I've rebuilt every single wear & tear item on this to keep it under 15 pounds total. After 500 miles I'll post an update

Good, inexpensive chainring
I purchased this to upgrade a 2x gravel bike to a 1x and get a little extra speed. I have used these chainrings before with good results. The chainring came with mounting hardware and was easy to install with a good fit. It looks nice.

It works and puts up with my punishment!!!
I am using this on a Redline Monocog 29er and it fits well and works flawlessly! It seems pretty strong, I am a Clydesdale at 6'4" and 320 pounds and it is holding up great! A great bang for your buck...and the blue works into the color scheme of my bike....that should be good for some more performance!

Durable chainring
This is a durable chainring, I have used it for pretty much all terrain, road, gravel, rocky trails and mud. I used it in dry and wet conditions for bikepacking. This chainring kept up and it never gave me any issues like getting derailed. I have a 1x7 setup on my mountain bike and it rides smooth. Very good quality and cost effective.

Fits as good or better than the $65 Wolf Tooth it replaced
After 200 miles of paved commuting I can't tell the difference between this and a much more expensive name brand chainring. Maybe the party will be over at 2000 miles, but so far so good. I'm running a Sram PC-1031 chain and PG-1030 cassette. This only works with a single chainring setup (1x10, 1x11, etc.) and a "Narrow Wide" chain. No front derailleur for you! Update 3/16/26: After 1700 miles the chain started making some noise under heavy load. I swapped the chain ring with an identical replacement and the issue went away. I've gone much further on more expensive chain rings, so it's a bit of a toss-up as to which is the best way to go.

Oval = awesome
I wonder if some reviewers who had trouble could have simply lined up their ring, attached the hardware, and tightened them with no issue. My ring seemed like it may need filing or something, but rather than start messing with it, I went ahead on intuition, and just tried installing it. I tightened alternating screws until all four were down, and, sure enough, perfect mounting. My story: I live in Brooklyn, NY, and now have three bikes. A 2011 CAAD10, a Poseidon DropX which I bought during COVID, so I wouldn't have to commute on or lock up the Cannondale, and my 2008 Gary Fisher Utopia. The Utopia was the first bike I bought in the city and I didn't like that people were faster than me in Central Park. I would eventually meet a marathon running baddie who I could not run with, but could maybe bike with, except she had a very fast Bianchi. So the Utopia got pushed into a corner for years. I got it cleaned up and replaced the chain so I could sell it to a new good friend I was working with. Then he got his old bike from home. In prepping it for him, I got it in great shape and forgot how much fun it was to ride. So, even though it's heavy, I thought, what better bike to ride in rain, wind, or snow. So I put big (47's) City Ride Continentals on it. Last year the fork went flat, and I needed to replace the brakes, which were never good. So I got a hydraulic set here on Amazon (they're great) and found a Rock Shox Judy at the lowest price I could get. Once I was riding it again, I realized I kinda want to make it lighter, and was about to replace the entire drive train which I'd done to my Poseidon after about a year, upgrading the Microshift stock setup (junk) with Sram Apex1. But it was going to be about $400 in parts. It was a cost some friends talked me out of. But I still wanted to change it to a 1 x. Enter this chain ring. I took off the outside rings, chose 38t oval as it's the middle point of the two, and installed it in the center spot. The chain line is perfect. The shifting is mint. Best of all, the power transfer is absolutely better. The oval ring was a last minute decision, simply because it cost the same and I figured, "why not try it?" So glad I did. Especially because this bike is heavy, and was harder to get up to speed than my other commuter, by far. Now, according to Strava, my numbers over similar rides are about the same as my other bike, whereas before it was much slower. I also am not missing any of the bottom gears, though as I get back into shape I'll be able to pedal to reach those occasional bursts of top speed that I've technically lost without the largest cog. This was such an easy fix. I also left the small ring on, rather than deal with pulling the cranks. I don't have the tool and paying a shop would have made it far more of an investment. I prefer doing everything I can myself these days. I highly recommend trying an oval chainring. I'm heavy, on a heavy bike and this simple swap gave me way more boost for my effort. And before you start panicking that it won't fit, I recommend lining it up and trying to tighten it. It may just flex into place snugly, as mine did. Stay rubber side down!

Deckas 36 Tooth Wide/Narrow Oval Chainring
Recently installed this 36T chainring and so far it has solved my initial problem: chain derailing when in low gears. I thought I might need a chain guide to prevent the chain from feeding off the front ring when in the lowest gears, but this ring is holding the chain on the crank much more effectively, even under torque and heavy vibration on the trail. I needed a slightly larger ring for more power on downhills and level ground, and having once used oval-shaped rings that I liked, this ring was a great investment. Incredibly lightweight, rad graphics, and the wide/narrow teeth that hold onto a chain much more effectively.

Good quality. Fitted to ALDI eMTB
I bought a mid drive electric mountain bike from ALDI a couple of years ago. It could be set to 40kmh but it was impossible to go that fast with the very low gearing. This sorted it out. Much more fun now.

Bastante buena calidad
Fácil de sustituir sin problemas el único detalle es que faltó 1 de las contras de los tornillos pero tenía recambios almacenados, le dio más estabilidad a mi bici
