Trader Joes 72% CACAO Dark Chocolate Huge Pound Plus Candy Bars 3 Pack No Artificial Flavors No Preservatives

We do not have any Trader Joe's out here in the middle of the Pacific Ocean (on the most remote continuously occupied place on the planet). I have been having to depend on friends to keep me stocked with this, and from my forays to the continent.While there, I inquired with the manager of the local Trader Joe's if the company had not thought of doing business way out here; next time I ran into him he said he had asked and they felt that they could not keep up their pricing! I mean, anybody who lives way the heck out here in the middle of nowhere knows well that imported stuff is going to be expensive! You remember the "$5 foot long" Subway campaign? Utterly nobody here would think for a moment that was going to hold here...So, I was very pleased to see a Prime vendor with these chocolate bars and I got a nice, prompt order.The ones I get in my Care Packages nearly always come through USPS dinged; usually cracked down the middle, and they are in the usual flat-rate USPS boxes with bubble wrap, which is OK, since I cut them up into the squares anyway. Only the ones I carry through my baggage on the plane are unscathed.These came in a bubble wrap and in a bubble wrap mailing envelope which did not give any security from being twisted...so they came split transversely. causing much crumbles when trying to get it down to the squares.Not to say I won't order more. It might be useful to use some kind of box and bubble wrap, though...just sayin'...

Great dk chocolate

I use Pound Plus as my go-to-eat chocolate, just for myself!!! Just a little few pieces at a time. This order melted, but I placed it in the freezer for a day (hard for me to wait) and it was fine. It was not the seller's fault. It was between 108 & 110 degrees outside and even from CA to NV it couldn't be helped. I will have to order twice as much before the next heat wave comes. Well, that is one excuse I could use.

This is Trader Joe's Chocolate but being old made it chalky and not as good as when fresh.
