Practical application and inspiring content. I highly recommend this book! Easy to read, simple, and magnetizimg, calling us to connect directly with God and create and receive willingly and openly our highest good and follow Divine will.

It’s a good read to embrace faith of life and appreciation. The number of examples is too many besides this it strengthens the SELF.

I absolutely love this book. I love how a center and a spirituality but mostly and God and Jesus it is a beautiful book your references passages from the Christian Bible.

I was skeptical, I admit. Self help published in 1925? Could be quaintly amusing, but useful?Well, wisdom is eternal, so as long as the vehicle is well-crafted, the message will always be appreciated. And Florence Scovel Shinn writes briskly and to the point, interspersing clear explanations with an inexhaustible supply of illustrations that ensure you really get what she's saying. Clearly she had experience with simple people, distracted people, and children. Repeat it, often and with gusto. But she never bores you.Two things I've noticed about universal wisdom: First, it will never contradict another piece of universal wisdom you've already internalized, and second, you'll feel its truth as you experience it, as you read, see, feel, hear, smell, taste, perceive it. Every time I open this book, whatever page I'm on will have a message that's relevant to me in that moment, something that reminds me how to deal with an issue I'm struggling with, and it's always appreciated. That's the mark of a keeper, and Florence nailed it. If you only read this book once, or you can't make it through, you're not ready for it; but hang on to it, because when you are, you'll be eternally grateful to have it.

This woman was amazing. She had such spiritual clarity, strength of character, self motivation, for a woman of her time. Such an inspiration with such inspirational spiritual/energetic information and ablility and love of sharing. The male reader is lovely. Though I prefer a woman's voice reading the words of a woman. I will say I've heard this book read by a woman on Youtube several times, and yet while listening to this man read the book in my car CD player, I will sometimes "Hear" things I did not "hear" before. Highly recommend Florence Scoval Shinn to the world!!!!!!!!!

I have read many self development books yet it was this book that made me finally understand how simple it really is. There are distinct Laws of the Universe that when acknowledged and applied correctly will bring you everything that is yours by Divine Right.As a society in general, we have been led to believe that life is much more difficult than it really is. Success in all areas of your Life is not hard to attain at all-- that is of course, if you know the game and how to play it!Read this book and change the way you look at yourself and more importantly how you look at every situation. Remember - it's not the situation- it's how you look at the situation that shapes your destiny.I can not stress enough the positive impact that you will see happen in your life and the people's lives around you when you read this book and apply the principles and affirmations. You will begin to see all your dreams start to come true right before your eyes and you'll find yourself saying, "I can't believe it was that simple..."I thank K. I mostly agreed with everything she said in this little book from the early 20th century. It has a few mistakes, but they don't get in the way of the main message. I highly recommend it to anyone else but mainly Christians and people who are sympathetic to the idea of the Divine Mind. There are plenty of positive affirmations
