The reason for the 4 out of 5 stars, I've had these clippers for only a month and will update as time goes on. month. So far, I am very pleased. The clippers feel very nice in the hand and quite lightweight with minimal vibration. I currently I own two high end Wahl corded clippers that vibrate excessively and are very noisy. In terms of blade quality they cut without pulling and do the job quire well. The guide combs that come with the clippers are a tad bit on the cheap side, softer plastic and difficult to read. However they are color coded and pretty much line up to what a colored guide Wahl comb kit depicts for the various lengths. I have existing Wahl colored guards that work with these clippers without issue. All in all, for the price I am quite pleased with these cordless and will update my rating and comments once they get a bit more long in the tooth. For those complaining about no clearcut instructions, no blade oil. Really? You Tube has enough self hair cutting tutorials on tampering etc., to keep yo busy for months. Also, blade oil can be purchases for as little as $3. For a sub $30.00 cordless clipper, I am very happy with performance and quality to date.

Looked for affordable cordless hair clipper and couldn't find. Went to best buy and walmart and nothing. On Amazon I found one only and it was crazy expensive. I gave this one a try and it was great so far. Has a digital battery life and so far used it 4 times and its probably 88%. Come with a cape too. I highly recommend this product. Don't be skeptical because it's not a famous brand. Its frikken cordless and decent price. Oil it before you use it, that's the mistake I did the first time because there was no oil included so I thought it was oil free hair clipper but only one brand sells oil-free cordless and its damn expensive. Buy your own oil or borrow like I did its not a big deal. Great product +++.........

I bought a name brand clipper (not this one) about a year ago at the local mega-chain-store. It was pretty simmilar to this one in design and function, but it was a total piece of crap. The blade got too hot to touch on your neck after 5 minutes of use, and that's about how long the battery lasted after a full charge before the motor slowed down.That's why I looked for a new one. When I found this one I thought it might be too good to be true for the price, but I bought it anyway. Soooo glad I did. This thing is amazing! My wife cuts my hair and her dad's hair. We charged it fully when it arrived and she has cut my hair twice and her dad's hair once and the display still says the battery is at 93%. It is a very solid build and has a great feel in your hand. It came with a full set of guides and even a cape to wear to keep the loose hair off the person receiving the haircut. After a 15 minute haircut the blade is still cool to the touch. I couldn't be happier and my wife who is the one using it loves it.I own many Milwaukee lithium power tools because they are excellent quality. This clipper is every bit the quality of my Milwaukee tools. Very impressed.

Very glad to endorse this product for it's supreme functionality, powerful and long lasting power source for endurance, ease to disassemble to thoroughly clean and reassemble for use. The great thing I would like to mention is that any other like product we have owned over the years required the oscillating prongs (that create the lateral blades to cut) do not need to be manually removed from or reattached in order to remove the lower blade for cleaning, maintenance, due this designs ease of being never needed by it's in place pattern to remove that other blade from being lifted out to clean and returned to it's patterned obvious position, return top blade then the 2 screws, tighten and your ready for action. Also ease of line up and additional adjustment required (that many styles require for function) is eliminated to 1 easy blade view to complete for optimum use! I thoroughly can attest that myself owning 3 different clippers that without names necessary, were names that have been frontrunners in sales for greater time periods have met their match! Using this product on myself for hair, beard maintenance, and my wife cutting our 2 Grandsons 3 times each, and still not losing any lack of battery power is impressive. Never till now, not needing to battle an electrical cord, we certainly are way happy about. And lastly this product will be worth your purchase in function, design, appearance, quality built, ergonomic ease to handle and lightweight in design. And please consider the sincerity for this sellers start up small business need to be able to only thrive and survive as we should respect in these times of mega corporate desires to eliminate our desire for choice of selection and our ability to choose what we may desire! And yes though my purchase was only a few months back, I am a certified owner who stands firmly on this review, strictly by our experience with it!

Works better than I expected. After getting far too many bad $30 cuts at the barber shop, decided to go it on my own. Lots of attachments gives you plenty of length to choose from. Cordless is a definite plus. Doesn't come with oil, so be sure to add some to your order.
