Fits my Char-Griller Akorn perfectly. Sturdy construction. The steel is as thick as any Weber grill.I would have given it 5 stars if both sides opened to add more charcoal or smoking chips.

The old IRON one I had was rusted to a point of not being able to clean it so it was replaced wth this one. Same diameter so it laid right on no problem. I like the little opening to light the charcoal as well.Cleans with Soap and water and its Stainless. Does the job and handles high heat up to 900 degrees like this grill can go to.

I have a ceramic chargriller egg grill. The original grate rusted and it broke when I dropped it. I love my grill so I was worried I would find a replacement that fit and I didn’t want another cast iron. This fit perfect! I would buy another one but it’s very well made so I doubt I will have to. This is the grill grate you are looking for to replace your Char Griller Akorn Kamado Cast Iron grate. The original grate had little notches around the circle edge to sit under the clips on the inside of the grill this does not so it sits in top of the clips but really so what! it’s s little further away from the heat source ! You could remove those clips but besides that It’s WELL MADE and fits nicely I LOVE IT- cast irons grate are great and all but I’m not one to maintain it - this won’t rust like cast iron- did I mention it’s well made?! A great replacement for yiur Char Griller Akorn Kamado grill
