I developed a minor elbow injury I was told it was advisable not to lean my elbow on a hard surface. I do a lot of desk work so this is a challenge. Not knowing whether anything like these desk pads existed, I did a search with some key words, figuring that someone should have invented it. It turns out someone did. The pad is big enough to rest my elbow comfortably but doesn't take up too much space on my desk. You get a set of two. And so far it seems like the right consistency, not too squishy, not too hard. Glad I found this!

Has a nice saddle shape that hugs your elbow/arm as you rest on the desk. Texture is like a medium dense gel foam which returns to shape pretty quickly. It's held up for about 18 months now. The rubbery base keeps it from sliding around even when I put full weight on the elbow pads. I like the slick/satiny fabric covering too! I have a cat and it's easy to brush off the pet hairs. The materials feel cool to the touch.

These are game changer for my office desk. They grip very well without leaving a mark and my elbows are well supported.

Comfortable

Pads are very soft, sat a little tall in my opinion, but that's what provides all the cushion so can't really complain there. Great soft feel as well as a sticky bottom so they stay in place. Overall great for the price but the big drawback and reason I can't use them is that the material started to flake, leaving black bits all over my elbows. Not sure if they all have this problem but mine started to flake within a week.
