WESTERN HOME Dog Beds Large Waterproof, Orthopedic Medium Dog Bed Sofa

To say I'm amazed is an understatement! My Malamute is Mr Suspicious of anything new, particularly beds, he'll not go anywhere near it for at least a week and then sleep next to it, but never on it. With this, he was making himself at home before I'd even finished putting it together.It's just the first day, but all is looking good. He's 10 and getting a bit creaky so I wanted something more comfortable than the floor that's not too hot.The reviews were a bit mixed re quality of materials and thickness of the mattress but I'm really impressed with the overall standard for the price. The vacuum packed components fit snuggly into the cover without the need to cram them in so the zips work smoothly.Time will tell, but he seems happy and comfortable just now and its certainly big enough for him to stretch out. He's 46.5 kg so manages to squash most dog beds, but so far the egg box construction and thickness of the mattress gives good support. I had a ly on it and I've slept on less comfortable beds...As yet I can't comment on how the cover washes, but the seams and fabric look durable, so fingers crossed.Overall, I would highly recommend this bed as my floofer seems to have given it an excellent rating.

**updated review** purchased this nearly 2 years ago now and it is by far the best purchase we ever made. It is still in as good condition as when we first purchased it. Our GSD had previously destroyed every dog bed we had bought within days. This one has stood the test of time. It hasn’t lost shape or flattened. We wash it regularly and it washes up so well. The zips are sturdy and haven’t broken. Most importantly, our dog LOVES it. She loves to lay her head on the bolster to use as a pillow. She’s grown a fair amount in 2 years and still has plenty of room on the bed. This bed was worth every single penny! Would absolutely recommendOnly delivered yesterday so can’t comment too much on the durability of it against my German Shepherd, but she hasn’t attempted to attack as yet like she usually does so that’s a win! She seems to love it!! We were debating with the sizes and in the end we went for the 106cm and we are so glad we did, it’s a really good size,as you can see from the picture she has plenty of space on it (she’s 33kgs), the 127cm would have been absolutely massive. The fact it’s machine washable and has the waterproof liner is perfect. It’s a good quality and looks nice. The bolsters are a nice size and create a nice pillow for her. The thickness is great, I tried laying on it myself and it didn’t flatten to the floor like some previous beds have. If there’s any negative, it would be that the waterproof liner is a little noisy when she’s moving about on it but that’s certainly not a deal breaker. The material is super soft and overall, we are very pleased with this purchase. Definitely priced well.

I bought the XL for my lab, as you can see in the pic there’s loads of room for her. I like the padded edges as she likes to rest her head on cushions and they’ll also keep draughts off her. The bed comes in several parts which you have to assemble, I thought this would be a pain but it was incredibly easy. I assembled it before the foam was puffed back into shape and I think that helped. Simply put the base in first and zip up then add the 3 edge pieces into the second zip up part. Very easy to remove for washing. I was worried the base would be too thin but my dog loves it and looked comfortable all night. My lab often scrats at new beds and destroys them, especially if she can feel filling moving about inside it, but so far so good with this one - it helps because it’s a solid bed with very little movement in it. The cover is nice too, plush on the sides and furry on the bed, looks like it will wash ok and the zips feel sturdy. My only negative is the waterproof cover on the bed is very plasticky does make noises - I hope that doesn’t cause my dog to rip it apart!

I’ll admit, I’m a bit of a softie when it comes to my dog, so I decided to treat her to a more luxurious bed with this WESTERN HOME Orthopedic Dog Bed. It wasn’t the cheapest out there but also didn’t break the bank compared to some of the high-end options on Amazon. I went for the largest size for my Labrador (who’s a bit on the smaller side for her breed), and it fit her comfortably.I even tested it myself for a moment, and honestly, it’s probably better than my own mattress! The padding around the perimeter is a nice touch, and she loves to rest her head on it. Assembly was quick and easy—took about five minutes and much less of a headache than flat-pack furniture from IKEA! Overall, my dog seems happy, and I’m pleased with the quality—what more can you ask for?

Got the XL one for my greyhound and she loves it! She will actually vacate the sofa now so humans can sit! down, and happily chooses to lie down on it. So good I just bought another one for downstairs. The cover zips off to wash ( haven't washed it yet) and seems to have a water resistant underside. The foam pad itself is bare underneath tho. Don't yet know if the waterproofing will survive multiple washes. Bought this as I currently also have a Lesure branded ortho dogbed which is absolutely brilliant but they're now unavailable. Seems like a good alternative so far

I have previously bought a couple of these beds as I have 3 dogs and was previously very pleased with the quality and value for money. This time, however, I am extremely disappointed with the quality and overall appearance in comparison with the other 2 beds. They appear to be made of cheaper and thinner materials and don't look to offer the same support. I won't be buying another one from them.

Great pet bed! Very durable. Zipper works great. Easy to wash. Has a liquid barrier cover that can also be washed. All my furballs love this bed because it is so comfortable! And it looks great.

My dog is almost 15 years old. His hips have become much more stiff this year. He loves this bed! It’s firm enough he can get on without issues but he is clearly comfortable as he always wants to lay on it. It’s a little noisy from the waterproof liner but I don’t mind bc I know he is just getting up or down from the bed and it helps me know where he is. Easy to assemble. Holding up great so far. Had a smell the first few days but nothing strong enough to bother us or the dog. Thinking of buying a second for upstairs.

Mooie mand /bed voor mijn puppy, kwam als klein pakket binnen hoes erom heen gedaan en mijn puppy vindt helemaal geweldig en ligt er heerlijk in. De mand lijkt nu nog erg groot maar mijn pup is nog geen 4 maanden dus vast op de groei gekocht. De mand voelt heerlijk en stevig aan.

Super tolles, und kuscheliges Hundebett. Es hat eine tolle Größe und sieht auch schön aus :)
