Product details: . - Toilet cleaner In cistern block - Foams and cleans with every flush - Prevents limescale, toilet descaler - Toilet Tablets turns toilet water blue - Lasts up to 4 weeks each - Pair with Bloo toilet cleaner products range for full hygienically cleaning effect Ingredients 15-30 % Anionic Surfactants, 5-15 % Non-Ionic Surfactants, Further ingredients: Perfumes (Hexyl Cinnamal, Eugenol, Alpha-isomethyl Ionone, Coumarin, Citronellol) Review: The best option I've found for tackling hard water and limescale - Having lived in a hard water area for years, limescale build-up in the toilet is a constant battle. I've tried all sorts of gels, blocks, and treatments over time to keep it under control, but I seem to always end up coming back to these Bloo blocks. They don't 100% destroy every single trace of hard water scale, but they are honestly better at keeping limescale at bay than almost anything else I've found on the market. That continuous action with every flush makes a noticeable difference in stopping heavy deposits from sticking to the bowl in the first place, which is precisely why I keep reordering them. Beyond the limescale protection, they couldn't be easier to use. You simply drop the block straight into the cistern without unwrapping it, and it goes to work right away. If you order the original version, the water turns a nice deep blue with a satisfying bit of foaming action on every flush. As far as the scent goes, it's very subtle and not something you're particularly going to notice or be overwhelmed by, which works fine for keeping things fresh without smelling like heavy chemicals. As far as longevity goes, they can vary, but if you're lucky, you can get a few weeks of continuous use out of them. In truth, they probably don't last quite as long as I'd ideally like them to, but given how well they tackle the mineral deposits compared to the competition, they are still the best option I can find so far. Review: It’s a great option for those looking to maintain a clean, fresh-smelling toilet - The Bloo Toilet Blocks Limescale Prevention offer an easy and effective solution to keeping your toilet fresh and free from limescale build-up. These toilet blocks are designed to be dropped into the toilet cistern, where they work to help prevent limescale and grime while providing a fresh, clean fragrance with every flush. Here’s an honest review of its features, pros, and cons: What’s Great: Effective Limescale Prevention: One of the key benefits of these toilet blocks is their ability to prevent limescale build-up in the toilet bowl. In areas with hard water, limescale can accumulate quickly, making the toilet look unsightly and difficult to clean. Bloo Toilet Blocks help to reduce this build-up, keeping your toilet cleaner for longer and making it easier to maintain. Fresh Fragrance with Every Flush: The Bloo Toilet Blocks come with a fresh, pleasant fragrance that’s released with every flush. The scent is clean and subtle, not overpowering, making it ideal for people who want a fresh-smelling toilet without a strong chemical or artificial odour. It helps to maintain a hygienic atmosphere in the bathroom, ensuring a refreshing experience each time you use the toilet. Convenient and Easy to Use: These toilet blocks are very easy to use – simply drop one into your toilet cistern and let it dissolve over time with each flush. There’s no need for complicated installations or messy applications. The simplicity of the product makes it a hassle-free addition to your toilet cleaning routine, perfect for those who want an easy and effective way to keep their toilet in good condition. Long-Lasting: The Bloo Toilet Blocks are designed to last for an extended period, so you won’t need to replace them frequently. Each block provides continuous cleaning and freshening for up to several weeks, making them a cost-effective option for long-term use. This means you get reliable, ongoing protection against limescale without needing constant replacement. Helps Maintain Toilet Hygiene: By preventing limescale and providing a fresh scent, Bloo Toilet Blocks also help to maintain overall toilet hygiene. They provide a bit of extra cleaning power between deep cleans, helping to keep your toilet looking and smelling fresh for longer periods. What Could Be Improved: Limited Limescale Removal Power: While the toilet blocks are great at preventing new limescale build-up, they may not be as effective at removing existing limescale deposits that have already formed in the toilet. If your toilet has significant limescale stains, you might need a more powerful cleaner in addition to the toilet blocks for a deeper clean. Fragrance May Not Last Long Enough for Some Users: Some customers have noted that the fragrance provided by the toilet blocks doesn’t last as long as they would like. While the scent is pleasant initially, it may fade more quickly than expected, especially with frequent flushing. This may require replacing the block sooner than anticipated for those who want a consistently fresh scent in their toilet. Effectiveness May Vary by Water Hardness: The effectiveness of Bloo Toilet Blocks can vary depending on the hardness of the water in your area. In places with very hard water, the blocks may not prevent limescale as effectively as in areas with softer water. If you live in an area with extremely hard water, you might need a more specialised solution for tackling limescale build-up. Noteworthy Observations: Affordable and Accessible: The Bloo Toilet Blocks are relatively inexpensive and can be found easily in most supermarkets and online stores. This makes them an affordable option for anyone looking to maintain a fresh-smelling, limescale-free toilet without spending too much on expensive cleaning products. Environmentally Friendly Option: While the product provides effective cleaning and fragrance, it’s worth noting that the packaging is plastic-based, and users concerned about environmental impact may want to look for alternative products with eco-friendly packaging or biodegradable options. However, the convenience and effectiveness of the product may outweigh this consideration for many. Verdict: The Bloo Toilet Blocks Limescale Prevention are a simple, affordable, and effective way to keep your toilet fresh and reduce limescale build-up, especially in areas with hard water. Their ability to provide a clean fragrance with every flush and prevent new limescale accumulation makes them a worthwhile addition to your toilet cleaning routine. While they may not be as effective at removing existing limescale stains and the fragrance could last longer, the product delivers on its promises of convenience and ease of use. Overall, it’s a great option for those looking to maintain a clean, fresh-smelling toilet without the need for constant scrubbing. ## Features - Causes serious eye damage. - Causes skin irritation. - Harmful to aquatic life with long lasting effects. - New: New Bloo toilet cistern blocks for stronger and longer lasting results to keep your loo fresh and clean.
