Reusable, reliable, saves time, friendly connectors!
These connectors make an excellent electrical connection; low resistance, measured with a Fluke digital meter. Connectivity was reliable even while bending and pushing the wires into the junction box (measured resistance with the Fluke Meter while doing this).I replace a lot of lights with LED lights and many times those LED lights have 18 gauge stranded wire that must be connected to solid core 12 or 14 gauge wire. No problem! Flip the orange lever up, trim a quarter inch of unsulation off the wire, insert wire, flip orange lever down. Mission accomplished!I have had absolutely no problems with these connectors! Some folks complained about how hard they found it to lift the orange levers. Save your fingernails, use an electrician's knife or a small flat blade scredriver. That strong spring is giving you a strong connection! Now, I am using these connectors to reduce the mess in junction boxes caused by too many 12 gauge wires and the old twist-on wire connectors. Cut wires, strip 1/4" of insulation, lever up, insert wire, lever down, NEXT WIRE, PLEASE! Fold wires into box. DONE. Make a wiring mistake? Lift lever, remove wire, insert correct wire, lever down. FIXED! Momma will be happy with you. Saved money and time with reuseable connectors. (Forget replacing those old, too small, junction boxes, too! They be just right, now!)Sorry, folks! I am sold on these connectors.

A wire attachment with changes easily completed.
Every once in a while we have to make a wire junction that requires reworking as needs change. These, though too cost inhibited for every application, does give options to possibilities without twisting multi wires together, then when need change, you have to cut off the twisted wire part and then the wiring can get shorter and shorter. These would work exceptionally well in a trailer and/or bus conversion!

They are good connectors
I like they way you can connect up to five #12 solid conductors. I was skeptical at first but after trying them they performed very well. The load is a 20 amp lighting circuit with four 8’ LED fixtures, the alternative would be to twist four solid #12’s and a stranded #12 together under a wire connector. This is much cleaner. I did receive a reply when I asked about how many of each size came in the package, one of them said they did not work with #12. That worried me because I had already purchased it. I think most importantly when installing these that the conductors are stripped clean and strait, no kinks or bends, even slightly. Overall they work great. We will see if they stand the test of time.

electrical lever nut assortment
In general I liked these wire nuts, however, most of the four-place nuts had an interference problem with 12 guage wire. I could have requested new ones, but I was able to just use the 5-place ones instead for my project.

Fantastic Improvement Over Traditional Wire Nuts!!!
These things are amazing, no more traditional wire nuts for me! These are SO much easier to deal with, and if you need to pull wires off or put more on its literally a snap with these! Also helps with crowded wire boxes (some of my wire nuts needed to accomodate 10 wires! they crowded the box so much you could barely get the switches in).

Repeatedly Broke
Connectors repeatedly broke when trying to clamp wire in.

Look, let's be honest here....
Wire nuts stink. Sure they are cheap, but they come loose, break, and you spend a lot of time futzing to find the right size. They twist up the wires together. These lever nuts are more expensive. BUT. You can wire a fixture in half the time, with half the hassle. Bare wire is never exposed. You can jam them in close the lever, and they are locked tight. The wire doesn't even have to be straight. Best, if you mis-wire, you can unlock it and redo it in seconds. No untwisting wires.Yeah it costs more, but the massive reduction in hassle is well worth the cost, at least for the do-it your selfer.

The last wire nut you'll ever need
These things are awesome. If you've ever used the big box version of this type of connector (made by Ideal) you will absolutely love these. The standard push connectors work fine for solid wire, but not for braided wire. These are perfect for braided wire, or braided to solid wire connections. Also, if you have to disconnect the wires for any reason, these connectors make it simple. Now, before you assume that because disconnecting is easy, then the connection must be flimsy, don't. I tested them first, and they do not come apart unless you flip the lever up to disconnect. Also perfect for boxes with short wire. The 5 wire connector is a godsend. All the others max out at 4, forcing you to use 2 just to connect 5 wires.
