Grind It Out
I cook a meal almost every night from scratch and the recipe often calls for a pinch of salt or pepper. I now add these condiments like a champ with my 'DeroTeno Salt and Pepper Mill Set'. They are your classic type of pepper mill and salt. You unscrew the top and add your rock salt or pepper corns. Turn the to you grind out the result like a mini Italian restaurant.I really love the treen look, they are an attractive pair. Adding the salt and pepper is also easy enough. They are all I would want from my mills, but they are a little expensive. I think for the price I would expect even more luxury. Here there is a little snagging when grinding, especially with the pepper. They are a very good set, but not at the high end of the market.

very good product
this pepper mill has a metal grinding system. this is all important since normally they have plastic these days and this breaks down quickly with pepper.this mill easily makes small and larger peppercorn flakes. the natural wood of the mill has a warm and solid feeling and looks really good in my kitchen. the price is high but if it keeps for ten years or so then it will have been worth it. we will see. i can recommend this product to anyone who loves solid wood and good grinding quality. also ideal as a present for ladies and gentlemen who cook.

As a pepper mill, it makes a really good ornament. It doesn’t grind pepper.

Quality and price isn’t the best
The salt and pepper mill come in a plain unbranded cardboard box. Quality is not the best I’ve seen, the pepper mill had an end grain top making it look slightly difference and a clear patch that looked like it was glued. The small metal tops both hold the top part down and adjust the coarseness. The problem with this is if you want it ground less it means the top is loose, and adjustment is either fine or less fine, very little adjustment. They function fine, and with them tightened down they don’t leak from the base anywhere as much as some others I have. At a fraction under £30 these are on the higher side when you can get comparable sets for less than £20 with the same ceramic grinders.

BEAU MAIS INVOMPLET
J'avais envoyé ce commentaire (ci-dessous) au début octobre et DEroTeno m'avait annoncé l'envoi du broyeeur manquant... Ace jour pas de news.....Bonjour, j'ai acheté ce moulin à sel à broyeur céramique de chez DeroTeno. Il est indiqué sur le site qu'un broyeur de remplacement est fourni avec le moulin. Mais à la réception il n'y avait pas ce broyeur supplémentaire.J'espère en recevoir un....
