Great Speakers!
I have used these exact speakers on several different vehicles and have had fantastic luck and sound out of smaller amped systems.

Clear sounding 6.5’s
These SOUND AMAZING. I added them to (4) JBL GTO629 running on a Rockville RXM-S6 and two Infinity Kappa 1200 subs on an Infinity Kappa 1000 amp.

Great upgrade for OEM speakers
These were perfect as a direct swap for the factory speakers that came with my 2018 Nissan Rogue SV. The sound quality is far and above greater then the speakers originally installed. I didn't want to go pay an installer or go through everything needed to install a component system which would mean running wires, installing a powered amplifier and accessing the stereo to do so. Also, I wasn't interested in "shake the rafters bass". I simply wanted to upgrade my speakers using the OEM stereo that came with the vehicle. These speakers were exactly what I was looking for. There are a lot of videos on line for removing the door panels. That was much easier than anticipated. I did have to drill a few holes, but overall the installation was simple and pretty straight forward. I installed the Infinity Primus Two way multi element in the front and Infinity Kappa full range in back with the extra 3db turned on and I couldn't be happier. I listen to a lot of techno, pop and alternative music and don't like a super heavy bass. With that said, the sound quality is amazing and provides plenty of bass if that's your thing. The mid range tones are rich, the highs are crisp and you can really feel the bass without sounding like the car is coming apart. This is the first time I've ever done a project like this and was relieved at how much easier it was that I thought and super happy with the results. I would highly recommend theses speakers if you're looking to upgrade the speakers in your car.

Sound Quality worth the few more dollars
I had these in my shopping cart for a loooooong time. Finally got em, glad i did. I have tried a variety of 6.5 full range/2-way speakers. These actually satisfy the higher quality level of sound i have been looking for!. They barley fit in my front doors but they worked as factory drop ins without modifications. I do have them powered by an aftermarket amplifier using the FULL RANGE selection on my 4 channel amp. what's really cool about them is there is a little button right next to the tweeter where you can add dBs (power output) of the tweeter for more crisp highs! very minimal level of distortion detected if any at all at very high volumes. Just have to tune the amp correctly, install them properly & don't be ridiculous and they will a purchase worth the price easily.

Pretty good
I bought these and the same model type components. The front components are slightly strong specs, namely in power handling and 10K more frequency. I just wished that these specs matched the fronts so that it can all be even. I guess they don't because they feel that they need a selling point for the more expensive components. Well, compared to some pretty expensive Pioneers that I had before these, these actually have BITE and usefulness! The Pioneers cost more and looked at least as cool - if not cooler, but were weak in sound and volume - even when hooked up to an amp. I have yet to hook these up to an amp and they are running on stock, but I already hear a big difference in these rears than in the Pioneers! Now I think that the Pioneer fronts sounded better than the components of the Kappas, but I could not fit the tweeter in the car. The sound is crisp, fairly clear with bass that can be heard and defined - off of the stock radio! I admit, I put the DB at the highest and you do lose detail, but I am about to amp them up and it and the fronts should sound much better. The stock sound on these speakers offered improvement, but after a while I needed more consistent sounds. Plus, the fronts are rated higher in frequency range, but when isolated, the tweeter sounded a little muddy. The Pioneers never did. Hopefully the amp clears things up. if not, at least it's easy to remove the tweeters and send them in for a warrant replacement. If you want to upgrade stock or use them with an amp - get them. I got them for a can't miss price, so I am more than satisfied!

Exceptional sound quality!
These speakers hit hard, deep, and tight! Hard that you can feel it in your chest and your body. Deep in how low of frequency they can go. And tight in the sense that it's not a loose bass that wobbles or drowns out the mids. You get deep bass when the music has it and silence when it doesn't. And the highs are prestine! Clear, crisp sound on the high end. These speakers also provide crisp mids. All sound come out clean and clear at any volume level. These are a bit more expensive than some lower end speakers and much cheaper than some supposed high end speakers. But they are the best value for the quality in my opinion. And the 3 ohm design allows for lots of volume even from stock head units. If you like stunning sounds across the entire frequency spectrum, then I would highly recommend these speakers!!!

Good quality sound for price point.
They are MUCH better than factory busted up, worn out speakers, obviously. But the sound quality coming from them, from being mounted in an open air, vehicle door, powered by the stock stereo head unit is still much better than I expected. They would most likely sound even more awesome with a small bit of power and maybe a setup that utilizes a custom equalizer. I bought a cheap $20 pair as a temporary replacement to the worn out factory ones. These blow them away as well, obviously :-P louder performance as well as the bass that you can get out of a 6.5" speaker. I am planning on buying another set for the rear doors. These are a good quality replacement for the price range. For reference, these are mounted in the front doors of my 2005 Avalanche. Thank you

I replaced some Bose (Honda Factory) speakers with these and they opened up the mids and mid bass immensely! No more resonance of the voices!!! Issue fixed. These speakers are top quality and because they are rated at 2.5ohms impedance, they are capable of replacing Bose car speakers. If you have factory Bose speakers that don’t sound great to you, then these will be the fix! May order a few more to replace the rears… but let’s see how these break in. My bass is so much tighter and more dynamic now too. Very impressed.

2009 ElectraGlide…put 6.5” Rockford speakers into the first stereo upgrade…they were pretty good and way better than factory speakers. But they tended to burn out so I went with the Kappa speakers and boom!!! What a difference!! Better bass, better smoother highs and way more volume! Powering them with a Soundstream amplifier (factory head unit will not produce enough wattage) and this motorcycle stereo just pumps it out now. Save a step and go strait to the Kappa speakers.
