Works but needs care
This product definitely does a thorough job. I would say that one needs to remove it, cleanse and sanitize as any other item. Be sure to dry thoroughly before storing as it is subject to pitting. Also do not tighten to snuggley as the base may break. Just my two cents.

Works well
I purchased this along with a new detachable shower head. If you already have a detachable shower head you can use the same hose. I definitely recommend using the included shutoff valve to not spray everywhere, it give you flow control. It works really well, I definitely recommend it.

The hose is worthless has burrs won't thread on I was able to use my old hose typical Chinese crap

It oxidizes
It’s not stainless steel. It started peeling off and caused minor painful cuts. I changed the twisting head tips but still the tube got oxidized inside. Not a safe product.
