Other use
We are using this shampoo tray for a different purpose. My husband has Parkinson’s, which has drastically affected his balance. He is not able to stand at the bathroom sink without fear of falling, and he is not able to get his rollator (walker with a seat) close enough to the sink to use our water flosser and to brush his teeth. We problem solved this by putting this shampoo cape down the front of him and placing the bottom of it in a plastic basin (like they use with patients in hospitals), which rests on his lap in his wheelchair. Prior to purchasing this cape, we tried this same set up, but using a plastic apron. The apron didn’t control the water on the sides adequately. The foam sides on this cape keep the water from splashing or dribbling out the sides. The cape can be adjusted around the neck with either hook and loop tape, or via metal clasps. I initially hesitated about making this purchase because of the price. Now that my husband has had such great success with using it for his needs, we think that it was money well spent. This product is well made, and we think it will last a very long time.

The Best Hairwashing Connector
This soft, easily cleaned connector between a wheelchair and a sink makes washing hair more comfortable and drier. It is much better than hard plastic trays, hospital-rigged connectors (e.g. bed to wastebasket), etc. Even turtlenecks can stay dry if covered underneath. The floor might get wet, but that can be dried. The only problem is the neck velcro, which rubs the skin too much. A good investment, especially for ladies with limited movement/pain and sinks of varied heights.

Product works but it’s so over overpriced for what it is it’s a hard pill to swallow.

Worked just as shown
Comfort Cape worked just like the advertisement. Mom was able to get her hair washed without getting wet or having a flood of water on the floor. Another client in the salon saw the cape and then asked for the information about ordering the cape as she couldn't bend her head to the sink and had gotten wet.
